I use this for when I edit my site and stuff. Although I have very little html knowledge and i just do it for fun. Its a nice editor for free.

Macromedia Dreamweaver is the best website building software there is IMO. If you can't afford it, then Chami is probably a good way to go (the link that Smaug gave you).
