Double XP and PlanetSide 2 App - PlanetSide Universe

Update: SOE has updated the official website with details about Double SC and XP Weekend! The special promotion will run from 12:01 AM PDT March 29, 2013 to 11:59PM PDT March 31, 2013. Also some notes of several Tank related cosmetics will be on sale!

SOE has sent out a press release announcing several items, including the new PlanetSide 2 App many have been waiting for will make it's debut at GDC this week.

New technology will soon be accessible to troops battling on the front lines of the Auraxian War. Players will be able to stay connected and strategize through their mobile devices with PlanetSide 2 Player App. Making its debut at the 2013 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco; the app will soon be available for iOS and Android devices.

Also announced, this weekend will be a Double XP and Station Cash Weekend!

That's right, all weekend long, log in and enjoy Double XP and Double SC in PlanetSide 2. Check Supercheap Auto Catalogue and Spotlight Catalogue. Tell the Bunny you've got plans.

And last but certainly not least a new video called "Behind the Battle Lines" featuring Ryan "CodeForge" Elam and Tramell "T-Ray" Isaac talking about the ForgeLight Engine.

It was strange, my outfit were killing in Mani Biolab when we suddenly received 2000 px for capturing it.
The exp rate change in game on the fly! Them we rushed to the VS gate and started camping enemy vehicles for an awesome amount of certs!

I used mine a few hours ago, worked fine and the SC was doubled.

I am in Japan, used my SC card and did NOT get double SC. I emailed customer support though. Hopefully they help me out.

There's currently a problem with their SC system. there's a thread about it on the planetside2.eu forums. I'm still waiting for 2x SC orders i put in last night (2nd was when i thought i'd retry it when 1st didnt materialize after a few hrs).
Sadly looks like the support for the SC aspect of the game is mostly on Easter hols and wont be back till after easter (not sure if germany get bank holiday monday)

So if your not getting your SC just sit tight i guess.

Ok, anyone tried a nvidia code with double SC?
Some people say it doesn´t work, but it is only speculation. I really need do know if someone tried it to be sure.

Why don't you try? Worst case scenario is that you'll get 5000sc like you would any other time. 10000sc if it works.

Well, they don´t come as easy as you think and on double SC weekend people are asking more for them that I am used to pay, $10 bucks, lol.
But I do agree that paying 10 bucks for 10.000 SC is almost stealing from SOE.

I notice that we are also receiving double resources, today on Esamir, until 10 minutes ago, we where holding the continent bonus really hard, with just like 2-3 territories and resources didn´t became a problem. Also, I use mines a lot, and even using them non stop, my supply didn´t end.

Double resorces + founder implant = I win!

The nvidia codes do not work. That's what I used, did not receive double SC, emailed customer support and was told it's a no go for those.

And now the double XP is over its like going back to work after holidays on a cold wet Monday morning.

I'm looking forward to the next x2 weekend and the injection of players it seems to bring.
The last few days have been fun.
