The time is now just past 10am Pacific Standard Time (US) and PlanetSide 2 is now officially available for download! It's been an amazing ride from Smed's very first Tweet about PlanetSide "Next" through Fan Faire 2011 and up until now. It's sure to be an exciting day as Soldiers make their way into Auraxis for the first time on their new characters that won't be deleted from here on out!
With launch SOE has put up a brand new PlanetSide 2 Community Website and re-opened the official forums. You can hit up the PlanetSide 2 website to start your download.
What are you going to do when you login to PlanetSide 2 for the first time? Check Tesco Offers and Lidl Offers. Hit up the comments and discuss your thoughts on release and this past year while you wait for the game to download!

Glad i contributed with the alpha squad. kind of wierd the red camo for the infiltrator , tho. not very stealthy. some camos are awesome. tundra prowler FTW. let's hope this is the first day of many. other 10 years of planetside weeee |

Re: PlanetSide 2 Officially Launched! It's been a great first day! Downloaded 3.27GB in twelve hours so far. That's about 75KB/s on average, which isn't too shabby for my internet connection. A couple of years ago I'd be lucky to get 30KB/s with this connection. *insert long boring rant about the absurdity of the internet in Canada* Hope everyone is having a great time! Re: PlanetSide 2 Officially Launched! Launch went very smooth for me, played around for 2-3 hours, yelled "Ice Cream! Ice Cream!" and got 50 certs to unlock the AMS. Now i'm just annoyed that i have to work all day. Ahwell, new toys to play with when i come home.

I live i a Moutain area, but still we have Faster Internet, it took approx. 3 Hours to Download.Then i went to the shop, which taken 1,5 Hours. I will Play the first Time this evening. So basically you need 2-3 Days to Dl ps2 ? |
