Implant Slots are where cybernetic devices known as Implants are surgically implanted within your character.
Eventually you will have the ability to use up to 3 of these implants. These devices, when activated, will
enhance/improve various physical abilities for your character. Implants use stamina, and are not imediately
available after you spawn. The ready time varies depending on the implant, but is usually about a minute or
so.
With multiple implants available, you can activate one or more at the same time. Be warned that using
more than one implant at the same time uses stamina at an increased rate. Your stamina level limits the time
you can have the implants active before you must deactivate them. Movement during implant use causes
increased stamina use for most implants. Depleat your stamina level and your implants will automatically
deactivate and you will be unable to run or jump. You will be reduced to walking or standing still to
rebuild your stamina. So mind your stamina levels.

Audio Amplifier
Amplifies footsteps of nearby enemy soldiers, allowing onboard systems to analyze that sound and place enemy soldier locations on your personal radar, thus revealing their position when they are running. |
Darklight Vision
Greatly reduces your normal visibility while simultaneously shifting your perceptions to allow you to see cloaked enemies in an area around you. |
Enhanced Targeting
Allows you to see the name and health of enemy characters under your reticule. It also reveals the names of enemies within a vehicle, as well as revealing enemy deployables at a greater range. NOTE:
This implant does not drain stamina. |
Melee Booster
Greatly enhances the damage of your knife when it hits. Advantageous to those who like to attack lone enemies up close and personal. |
Personal Shield
Harnesses your stamina and turns it into a personal force field that blocks incoming damage on a one for one basis. |
Range Magnifier
Used instead of a weapon's normal zoom function, but has much greater capacity. Zoom levels are 4x, 8x, and 12x. NOTE: This implant does not drain stamina. |
Regeneration
Allows you to use stamina points to quickly regenerate missing Health points at the cost of two Stamina points for each Health point regained. |
Second Wind
When you're on the brink of death, the Second Wind implant automatically strips stamina away to boost Health to safer levels. After each use, a recharge period must elapse before Second Wind
can be used again. |
Sensor Shield
Uses ECM technology to screen you from motion sensors, Mosquito overflight radar, and most radar when not operating equipment. If you use any item, or take damage, your Sensor Shield will temporarily fail, revealing
you on the Proximity Maps of enemy soldiers. |
Surge
This implant boosts your foot speed by draining your stamina to power enhanced leg units. The bulkier the armor being worn, the more stamina required to achieve the Surge in speed. No items may be equiped while
Surge is in use, so care must be taken when using this implant near combat situations. |
