This tool is used to generate the code for making macros in Planetside. A macro allows you to quickly display a message in the chat window by pressing the key corrosponding to the slot that the macro is in. This can be useful in certain situations, if you use MAX units a lot you may have one that says "Warning! Max units firing in this area!" to warn people in the area to keep out of your line of sight.

When you have generated your macro, write down the code that is generated and then type it into the chat window in Planetside. Press enter after you have typed it in and a speech buble with the 3 letters of the macro will appear. Simply drop it into one of your empty hotkey slots at the bottom of the screen. To remove a macro from the hotkey bar, simply right-click on it. To send the macro, press the corrosponding hotkey.
