Grid System

I would like to see them add a grid system into our maps. This would make it alot easier to relay location information. SOmething as simple as letters and numbers.

Great idea! they probably already have one in order to make the game, they just haven't made it so that we can see it.

I support this, since it would give alternatives to waypoints and let us answer the question of 'where are you?' much easier.
Plus there's the whole military-ish coolness factor. "You have been assigned a waypoint (V22, Amerish)"

No we call them coordinates Longitude Latitude make them sound cooler not like some stupid game board

Numbers and letters is completely valid for a map.

Think of a Thomas Guide.

Logical and efficient.

Good idea as long as it's wide spread. Each grid would be at least the size of a base's SoI. Otherwise CR1 WPs would be pretty useless when you could easily pinpoint an AMS by saying grid N47. :)

I htink that they should just set up the grid sytem over each continent that are in X, Y format, except without a comma. Like: "We need a pickup at 1267". :D

Yes the grid system would make planning better also since they are comin out with orbital strikes and all it would be easier for a commander to do so this a great idea:thumbsup:

make the grid a CR1 bonus instead of waypoints. All people in squad can see grid....and can be used later for orbital strikes.
