The only DVD I own, actually. I felt unjustified downloading the DiVX after I saw that movie. That movie defines "powerful."

I would beg to differ. While it is Powerfull, and interesting to an extent, it doesn't really open your mind to anything. I guess my type of movie is different. My type of movie is the kind that just, show's you something about life you didn't think of before, or show's you a different outlook on life, or something like that. I tend to like movies that offer interesting philosophical outlooks, like gatica, or donny darko. I can't even begin to describe the "high" i get from coming out of a movie theatre not knowing what the hell to think about the movie, or even reality.

how could you hate momento. Sure, it really wasn't that deep, and thoughtfull, but it certainly was well dirrected, well acted, and pretty original/ingenious. The real question is, HOW THE F*** did the person who recomended equilibrium LIKE EQUILIBRIUM. It sucked so much male chicken that i fast forwarded through most of it, and just watched the action scenes, WHICH SUCKED. That was the worst movie i've seen in a long time, and that's damn hard to say, because i just rented fucking ive pirates a few days ago (hahahaha, ice pirates, second only to mr smirnoff 100 proof). I can't even take something that stoopid seriously at all. "we have created the ultimate weapon, the ___ cleric" hahaha, i can't remember the name, but after that line, it was utterly impossible to take that movie seriously. And it just wouldn't stop with the stupid stupid action. urgh.
