How would this compare.

How does this game compare in game play to a WW 2online, i loved ww2 online for about 6 months then it got old taking 30 mins to get to the action. Whats the downtime rates for planetside? How easy is it to find a conflict, i remember many times going to a "hotspot" of ww2 online and finding nothing. I think group combat, using combinded arms if my kinda ballgame, does planetside fulfill that kinda game? thanks you ahead of time for any responses.

server troubles are prominent, but many things are being fixed as we speak. The "instant action" button doesnt do squat, but on the map hotspots are marked so its fairly easy to find action once you get there :cool:

The "Instant Action" button/option worked for me Onizuka. If you don't take the "Instant Action" route you can caravan/group with your squad in a Galaxy or other vehicle to the pt. of interest. The longest it's ever taken me to find action was about 10 to 15 min (and I was driving my Harrasser, and it was very late at night =P). There's a shuttle (HART) that drops people off anywhere on the islands every 10min too.

Just like Onizuka mentioned you can use your strategic map and see the "hot zones" and either get a ride there or HART into that area of interest. This game is definitely about teamwork Reicher, so I think it would fit you well to check it out. Good luck!
