Last patch notes said with in two weeks. So I'd say in a week or so now.

We already have bombers :D . Was piloting my Galaxy the other day and the Harrasser in the back dropped to soon and crashed in a firey wreck. Just need to pack in a few more and we have ourselves a low tech Liberator :D .

and can anyone tell me how platoons work, i really want to know. possible linkage maybe? are there 3 leaders or 1 and what power does he have. Im not sure why everyone is looking foreward to platoons. i want to see the liberator and lodestar much much more.

I'm trying my best to wait patiently for platoons. I think they are going to rock hard. But I understand that there is probably an entire chat system issue in that feature. Probably some vehicle lock issues, etc. I know it's not just as simple as throwing three squads together.

The waiting is the hardest part.

Hasnt your outfit ever played with 2 or 3 squads in the same area? Wouldnt it have been extremely healpfull to be able to tell where the people in those other squads were?

They were working on Platoons in beta, it was scrapped for one reason or another for a different feature.

So they'd already had some work on the project.. i hope we see it very soon. Its easily one of the most anticipated features.

im most looking forward to the outfit competitions. i only ever played 1 CS clan match, but it was brillaint, all working together, etc. imagine capture the flag on an area equivalent to between two of the vehicle pads in the vehicle virtual reality thing, in towerws. that would rock so bad.

eh my outfit has 2 people in it. and i go solo ALL the time so i was wondering if maybe platoons would make being in a squad more fun.

because right now, you join a squad take 30 to get organized and get to the battle. get squat xp there, when all the time you could have just gone by yourself and gotton a 5k cap.

Go read the thread originally about the aded features. I think someone had a quote from Spork or Smoke about Platoons saying basically they didn't put it in because it's not new to the list of soon to be added features but it is still coming.

vechs are the #1 on my list, Ive wanted a bomber since I first learned of this game back in november :p I know that ill have the bomber and skyguard in my cert list ;)

Platoons will also be very nice, but most of the time I use otufit chat to run multi-squad groups, so it isnt that much of a change for me.

What I really want is the new base defences (force field doors, etc) Now that will be nice ;)

I expect to see the new vechs in game around friday-monday

On the contrary, SJ said that Platoons were always a post-release feature. Now granted that he could be BSing and they postponed it, but that's what he said...
