Myself and my squad were joking around last night about me getting CR5.

NC on Konried have one CR5 to my knowledge and he uses global messages to request support at specific areas and then once he has that support he uses continental messages to direct the massive army he's amassed to certain objectives while also playing operator - making sure things get done while getting and sending status reports from/to the whole force and specific squad leaders... I'm honestly not sure how he manages to send and receive so many tells and other messages and continue fighting at the same time but he does. Oh, and yeah, the majority of the people do listen to him and we've been doing a helluvalot better since we started.

TR had a CR5 who did simlar things in late beta.. he did a great job requesting and directing forces.

Of course not eveyrone is going to listen, but those who play for the global aspect will. People who just play for XP and cant be bothered with helping their own empire wont listen :p

I have to say that being a SL is tough enough. Being a CR5 and actually directing larger units has to be hellish. But, I imagine some of the work becomes more second nature over time.

y'know we have a few cr5 on emrald NC now, and we have been doing much better with them. Got to actually take foresal under his leadership. It was fun to report an AMS to him, then watch the cont command go out, then watch the reavers swarm in... kinda nice!

Gotta say that this is the most fun I've had playing PS yet!

usually a few respond as I try to coordinate ant runs, getting them cover, and AMS deployments.

but my urges to kill are sometimes stronger then my urges to lead. gotta learn to balance it out.

and yes, it almost never fails that u get shit talked for whatever continent wide chat you send.

Konried's cr5 NC man has earned his respect, he is a good player and a great guy. I've played a fey servers and empires, but the NC on Konried is the best. Our cr5 man works hard but we all listen, and it don't happen if you don't listen. So take it ez on your cr5 men in other areas, maybe if they had good support they would get better. BTW we got a few up and comers in the NC on Konried who learned alot from Luci and have earned a little respect for themselves, so get ready for more players like Luci to hit the scene soon

I've put Luci on /ignore before because I didn't need his spam that night. My squad was not near his action and didn't intend to be any time soon. So the extra spam got in the way of me reading the constant stream of /s, /o, and /c.

Now if there was color coding for the different types of messages, it would be an entierly different story. I could keep track of things easier then.
