although i am not a newb in MMOGs, i am a newb to this game and what i have been seeing, this game has everything i can imagine. It has the graphics of Tribes2, Mass multiplayerness of WW2OL, and an awsome array of controlable vechicles that you can enter/leave like BF1942.
I can hardly wait the day where i am a medium assult soldier in a glaxy witch looks in my opinion as the dropship in Alien2, with 10 other guys, i can hear anti aircraft and small arms hit our ship as we approach our LZ and the hatch opens and all i can see is WAR! planes, tanks, soldiers fighing ferociously and with strategy.
If there is ANY way to get into the beta, please let me know because i will do anything to get that feeling of what i stated above.
Hope to see you guys on the front.
wow guess im not the only one who fantasizes :o
Beta sign-ups have been closed for a while and most likely won't be open again.

that sucks that i have no chance getting in the game, but i did see that the game is going to be released Q1 03, it is hard to wait but hopefully my patience will pay off, but does anyone know what month the game should be out?
Not before March. Hopefully it will be the 1st of March. :D

they siggested february, but that's an awfully short and close month. In any case, we're all waiting impatiently for the same thing.

Well i agree i too have had many bad experiences with DBZ names but i don't judge new comers by their name. :)

You're so nice Dio! ;)
CS seems to have the highest concentration of the DBZ-inclined. Between characters such as BigDaddyGohan, VegetoPwnzJ00, and [dbz]SSJGoHaNsNiPeR, I've amassed quite a few knife kills.
SoF2 is littered with them, and DAoC had some troubles as well.
I mean, really, who can get excited about a show where 60% of all airtime is character-of-the-week glowing yellow and fighting the same person he's fought for the last five weeks? Gah. Read a book. Or if you have to have anime, rent Perfect Blue or Patlabor 2. Something more mentally engaging.

Since the majority of the CS crowd consists of 12 year olds that love to jump, shoot, whine and pay no attention to teamplay, its hard to think that the're alot of dbz fans in the game. me, being 17, like the show because it has a huge storyline that always progresses and change, unlike most shows that switch to another situation every episode. in any case that is my opinon and i like the show for my own reasons.
That guy driving the buggy just entered a battle where his team was defending his outpost...what did u expect him to do?
And if there is one thing ive learned its not to judge ppl by their screen name. Damn u HoTtGiRl18 being 35 and ugly!

DBZ is win. :)
WhiteSun, you are right in that if people WANT more mentally engaging films they should go to more complex anime, but DBZ is something you can enjoy the action in. I love movies that make me think, but I also love movies that have lots of things blowing up with people next to the explosions and the fireballs flying everywhere and the wierd guys with the wierd hair turning into blurs to the point where the animators just have to show 1 frame for 10 minutes and all the kids will still say "WOW!". Those are just classic to me. :D
But you guys are right with the SSJ people, although MMO games usually don't have as much of the DBZness going on because anyone can get good at some aspect in them. FPS's and Tactics games require cunning and skill, which the graphics attract DBZers, but the gameplay rips them a new one. ;)
