Whch do you think will happen regarding HA weapons?

Personally I think the Lasher projectiles will be made faster and the Chaingun CoF will be tighentened, not nerfing the hammer.

I don't think they'll buff the other two, or else everyone in the world will be a HA certed infantryman.

I think they'll nerf the ROF on the jackhammer.

Cause I think the lasher is on target for where the HA weapons should be. It's very deadly and effective when used right. Vanu love to complain about the speed of it's bolts but inside the range your supposed to be using it at they are not that bad at all if you know how to aim.

VS also overlook that it doubles as a decent AV weapon - The thing does 30(!) damage per shot for a direct hit on a max (and if you can't hit a bigass MAX with it you deserve to die) which means one clip of ammo can very quickly strip almost all the armor off a MAX, the second clip will more then finish him off. And it's able to do this from quite a distance away. It's easy to take on any AV Max with it and fighting the NC Scattercannon isn't hard either since your effective range is greater then his. Sure, it's not as powerful as a dedicated AV weapon but you don't have to carry two types of ammo, you don't have to reload, you don't even have to change fire modes to start owning a MAX. Unlike the chaingun and jackhammer which are less effective vs maxes and require you carry two or 'swap' ammo.

I really hope that SOE doesn't change the lasher and instead buffs the chaingun up slightly so it's COF is smaller then the side of a sunderer at 10m ;) and lowers the jackhammer so it's overly powerful weapon it is now. Lasher is worth the 4 cert points it costs but is no so powerful that players killed by it feel like they didn't have a chance.
