Ha I thought he looked familair. Ever seen the movie Pumping Iron? It was made way back in the day and it was all about Arnold and the guys from his gym, there was a segment with arnold vs. lou.

I won't be seeing it... I am a huge fan of the comic done movies like X-Men and Spiderman, but HULK looks so incredibly lame!

I gotta disagree man. I watched The Lowdown on the Scifi channel about it and it deffinetly looks interesting to me. X-men 1, especially 2 were awesome..There's something about Spiderman that irks me though. Yeah Sam Raimi of Evil Dead fame directed it and because of this I normally would already all about it but I dunno Spiderman left me with a weird feeling, call me crazY I guess, maybe it was the way it was presented, from the middle on I was out of it.

Well Spidey was just a bit more teen flick is all, i still liked it though. I'm going to see the Hulk tonite or sometime this week-end, not sure what to expect, it seems to have a good story but it also seems to be filled with chessy "OOH look at our pretty CGI shit" scenes so i'll have to wait and see it before commenting. :)

Yeah at first glance the CGI threw me off as well. I wont be able to make an educated assesment, as you said, until I see the movie.
Hey Dio your from Canada right? Do you guys get shit released the same day as the United Sates, like movies, music, etc?

I loved Spiderman mainly because I have a thing for red haired girls, and Kirsten Duntz or however you spell it is incredibly hot...

And take a look at the PSU quote shown right now, lol:

"PSU: Does whatever a spider can."

Maybe I should submit...
PSU: Now with telepathic quote generation

Maybe someone can clarify this for me....

The plot of this movie is:
He turns huge and green, and breaks alot of stuff.

That about right?

Close. That seems a bit too in depth really, shallow that up a bit, and throw in some star wars level acting, and you've got it ;).

I gotta go thumbs down for Hulk. It just doesnt spur any interest for me...then again, neither did Spiderman.

When I finally saw it, I still didnt "get into it". I see Hulk doing the same.

Not saying your wrong but how do you know if the acting is bad? :)

If the director and main actors are good and can truthly and interestly portray the inner struggle that is the Hulk than it will be good, otherwise yeah it's basicall Hulk mad, Hulk SMASH.

I just got back from seeing it...

to say it I'm a HUGE comic book fan, got a little tingly at the Punisher teaser! so here's what I thought.

This movie, was BORRING! with occasional momments of kewlness!

Not to ruin anything... and this won't but the Fucking Frame thing is annoying as hell! Comic book movies do not have to look like comic books JAG-OFF...

annoying, disruptive, crappy... poorly plotted, and what plot was there they didn't even bother going to the source material for.

The only redeeming part was when the actual hulk was on screen. He looked like I would wish him to look, and ate up scenery, and near anything else around him!

This movie suffered from 2 major problems...

1) Trying to tell too much story, I mean it starts before he's born, and the first 45 minutes couldn't drag more if they tried.
2) no cohesive bad guy. IT's daddy, no it's the army, no it's yourself, no it's the army again, no it's daddy. now go and poorly resolve that.

So from a fan, and a big one at that... save your money, if you do want to go see it, see it first thing so the ticket is cheap.

The other great thing is that there was a problem with the movie, causing us all to get free tickets to one worth seeing!

I disagree about the comic book frame style, it's original and added a lot of effect. Aside form that the movie has nothing else distinct or largely interesting. It's an ok action movie but they barely scratched the surface of lots of side stories and the inner strugle that is Hulk was like 5% of the movie.

Story wise : 5/10
Action : 7/10
Digital effects : 7/10
Acting : 6/10

Overall : 6/10
