I'm a big fan of PS2, it's the graphics, the controller, the amount of games to choose from, big on action styled game or RPGs, etc.

Older consoles would come second, SNES to be more exact. I dunno, I just love it so much for some reason...

GC sucks because I see Nintendo making those cheesy games with simple colors made for kids, funkiest contoller. Lots of adventure basesd games in my opinion.

PS2 is if you like playing console games by yourself.

Xbox is the party machine, hands the fuk down.

Xbox has 4 controllers, Xbox live, gamespy ports (for Halo) and tons of great multiplayer games.

For console games, Xbox has the best. Period.

Halo = hands down best party game
DOA3= next best party game
Ghost Recon = best online multiplayer game ever
MechWarrior Assault = next best online multiplayer game ever

Hell, id buy an Xbox just for Halo and Ghost Recon. PS2 aint got shit on those two games.

Also, what the hell is up with the PS2 and Gamecube controllers? I feel like im gonna break the damn things. Xbox controllers were made for real men.

Sega Dreamcast still holds a special place in my heart. No other system to date has as many kick ass games as that somewhat old school system.

Mario, Zelda and such, they are responsible for these classically great franchises that continue to pump out amazing titles

plus Rare, the publisher responsible for many of my favorite games such as Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, publishes all of its great games on Nintendo consoles.

but i'm not gonna vote, mainly because there are some great games on the Xbox, which i also own. the Halo franchise kicks far too much ass.

Eh... they've all been lackluster as far as I'm concerned since the beginning of 2003... but for what it's worth, I own a PS2, but I do like some XBOX games, there just aren't enough good games for it that would warrant me buying the thing myself, I play it at my friends house which is good enough for me.

Tek is right, Xbox is fun to play with other people, but thats where it messed up, that makes it so as long as one of your friends has it you don't need to buy it...

i saw that halo 2 movie... that was pretty kickass i must say. there was this one part where the guy that was playing was able to jump on the front of a flying ghost and throw the driver off... was real cool
