This is comedy at it's best.
Wait until most people login today, you will love the new bugs they introduced.
And just remeber
"we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally"
"we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally"
"we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally"
"we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally"
"we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally"
"we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally"

Dude, you might as well just accept it.
As the game grows and progresses this was bound to happen.
If not now then sometime down the road. Go with the flow or it'll drive you insane.

Valcron, we all hate bugs and such but we don't need to spam whine posts about them.

We all knew that when we signed up there would be bugs. The only comfort we have is that we are paying to have them fixed and are fixed in time... However that reaver bug where you can't see your rockets or 20mm rounds is annoying:mad: .

What a bunch of pansys. Im sure it was a tiny little ity bit of coding that messed it up. Like anyof those bitches could figure anything out with it.
oh no! A patch has a fault in it! Were all doomed we cant update eva! Its impossible for them to fix this.
/endsarcasm
But really tho ppl im sure the devs will work their asses off trying to fix the bug. Il bet that SJ might not even beable to do interview now that its messed up.

Simple gripe, simple answer. If you don't like patches that cause bugs, don't play MMOs. Every patch will break something, I think it might be the 11th commandment :p

There was a saying that was popular among people who played Asheron's Call --
Thou Shalt Not Play On Patch Day
Now in that game, inventory and items really meant something -- people lost literally years' worth of equipment in one crash. Do that on patch day, and come to the boards whining about it, and EVERYONE would have laughed you off.
You're coming here and whining about missing hotspots and messed up colors?
Bugs happen. The problem is, they get harder and harder to find.
The first 10 people testing will find X bugs
The first 100 people testing will find 2X bugs
The first 1000 people testing will find 3X bugs
And so on...
If SOE is lucky, they caught 2X bugs. That means we're likely to find another 2X ourselves, perhaps even more.
I can't believe I wasted this much time replying to such a retarded post.

I think you read the phrase "we have spent some extra time testing the patch internally" out of context. If you read the patch notes they are saying that they usually like to have a test server up and running before throwing down a patch like this, but were not able to, so they did a bunch of internal testing knowing that's not the best way to do it.
In the future they will test the patches more thoroughly on a test server before going live. But the figured we would like the content now instead of waiting till they got the test server up.
Give them a break... what they really ment to say was "This patch might be a bit chancier than our future ones, cut us some slack."
