The control console is the heart of the base. Right? If it were, you could actually do something with it. These are a few ideas I think would make it cooler and make it more valuable than something to hack:
1) Turret control, you can set one turret or all turrets to do different things. Like in Sentry mode, it doesn't fire but it displays anything moving at more than 2 meters per second with in 200 meters, like an Alarm deployable, but with greatre range.
2)Equipment disable: You can enable/disable any equipment in the base. But while the offense could disable the automatic doors, it would keep their guys from coming in as well. For example:
A stealth Hacker sneaks into a base with his friends behind him, they raise no alarms on the way in. The hacker and his friends quickly go to the control room, where the hacker does a 15 second hack on the console to make it useable for his team. They first disable the turrets, then the doors. This raises hotspots, so they shut off the tubes. Then they hunker down and wait. An enemy team arrives, they find the doors locked. One promptley uses a crowbar and begins pulling it open (it's always there, like the knife). As they proceed to the control room and begin prying it open, the offensive quickly reloads their guns and prepares for a fight.
Remember this disables anything in the base except the generator, and each disabling or enabling takes a certain amount of time. Each turret is about 5 seconds, each tube about 10 seconds, and each door 4 seconds, keeps the privelege from being abused too badly. This could also be used defensively, using turrets to find enemy enemy attack teams or disabling doors as enemies try to unlock them.
