okay, what implants do you all use? which is your favorite, and which ones do you think could be made better?
tell us about ALL of your implants, and what EXACTLY they do, and who you would recommend them to.
specifically, what would you suggest BESIDES darklight? it's just too common. (i'm saying that, and i'm not even an infiltrator)

Surge, because I also use re-inforced most of the time, and it can get you out of trouble quickly.

or in my case into trouble.
I like it cause no one know's you have it. You can strafe around, and just stay behind people with it if you do it right. Ever since I got surge, I'll take on any max one on one if I have a shotty.

I use advanced targeting and audio amplifier.
The AT works well if you have an AV weapon or gun in a vehicle a lot. You know which targets to shoot for first. :)
The audio implant works well if you're somebody who guards a CC or a hacker a lot as you know which direction an enemy is comming from AND if they're a max or not.
It really depends on your role. IF you're a heavy weps guy you may want surge, so you can run up into your enemy's face. BUt when your a cloaker, you may wnat regeneration, since you have no armor to protect yourself.

All you need is Surge, Mag Range and Personal Shield. I usually use Personal Shield when I'm going toe to toe with another MAX or soldier, Mag Range when I'm sniping and want pin point accuracy and Surge when I'm getting low on Shields. All the other implants won't become helpful until new Armor is added to this game. They need to add a Special Armor suit that regenerates the Armor over time without decreasing your health or stamina. One day soon, hopefully.

Of course Darklight was my first implant, but personally I picked advanced regeneration for my second. With Engineering, I can repair my armor and this implant lets me heal my health without spending extra certs for medical or wasting inventory space on medkits.
Surge seems to be popular if you want to engage in close-range combat, but with Cycler/Striker as my primary setup, I prefer to deal with enemies at medium range whenever possible, I don't need to charge up right next to them.

Darklight is useless most cases, just look for the shimers, its not that hard. I tried darklight and found it usless, if you pay attenction to your area, you can see the invs guys w/o a problem ;)
I use surge, since it lets me charge with my hammer, and run with my sniper/phoenix.
I used to use rang mag, since I would take the falcon max (NC-AV) and use it thus getting: Sniper MAX!!
I dont know why more people dont use the sniper max, it works very well. (Stumbled across the ability of the sniper max back in beta when I had rang mag for my sniper, and hoped in a max suit, worked very well)

Just have to quickly disagree with this because there are many smart cloakers out there that know when to stand still. Many, many times my Darklight has caught a cloaker sitting quietly that would have never otherwise been suspected, just waiting for his moment to work some dire mischeif against the Republic.

Every one of my characters so far has had both engineering and Adv. Regeneration. That way, giving a couple of seconds, you can be back up to perfect in no time flat. Especially helpfull in sniper wars. If you are an infiltrator, just pick up Adv. Regeneration. I still carry med-kits because one on one, if you have them, and the other guy doesn't, you have quite an advantage. ;)

my reaver/skeeter pilot (accursed skyguards!!!) uses adv targeting 24/7. being in the cockpit means I don't run out of stamina, and it just rules being able to see the information provided by adv targ. he also has personal shield and regeneration because he's part time sniper. between his reaver/skeeter engineering cert and those two implants I can basically shrug off anything another sniper throws at me and sit still long enough to put the second bolt through his skull.
my infiltrator uses surge/regen/darklight. whenever I get busted, just turn on surge and I'm moving so fast and for so long that nobody has a snowball's chance of catching me, then I heal off any damage I took. darklight is just for those infiltrator on infiltrator fights and for scoping out CCs. gotta watch my pansy unarmored back dontchaknow!
my MAX guy uses darklight for slaughtering any infiltrators that get near me (I use the damn thing and I think it's obscene  ), regen just because, and personal shield for that little extra ablative regenerating armor edge. sure it blows that it leaves me with zero stamina afterwards, but what's it gonna do...slow down a MAX? anybody for some wet water?

I think Infiltration suiters should use Surge, Regenerate, and Silent Run. These make for a hard to find guy. Not to mention the boon to not have to hold med kits, or expose yourself to hack a med terminal. Surge can make you run faster than a crackhead in this armor too. Silent run eliminates the fear of audio amplifier implant.

darklight is extremely important for infiltrators.... i'd trade silent run for DL.
as they say, fight fire with fire ;)

Audio Amp is godly.
Not sure what else to say other than to try it - it's an incredible advantage once you get used to it.
