Personally, it makes me think more positively about the future; at least SmokeJumper makes it sounds that they've got a lot coming up :)

I can't understand how he confused the "will different empires have different bases" question...you know, like different looking/structured bases....

Great interview, unfortunetly I missed it live as I got caught up in playing PS. But after listening to that interview I cannot wait to see what PS evolves into.

JackBoCracken, I can see where the confusion would come in... Would you make the continents connecting to a sanctuary be that empire's "home continents?" So Hossin, Cyssor, and Solsar would have the "NC bases?" Then what about Searhus, would that have it's own set of bases? Four sets of unique bases would take a LOT of work to design, and would be a massive download, that sounds more like an expansion to me.
Or are you saying that when we capture a base it should switch to the layout of our empire? Those brave painting gnomes that repaint an entire base in the middle of a war after a base is captured do enough work, who is going to rebuild a base in the middle of a war?
I  painting gnomes!

Are these the same gnomes who repaint hacked vehicles? and are these gnomes paid by the specific factions? and which faction pays the least?:p
EDIT: YES! I'm a Vet:eek: :D

Maybe because he's a dev and not a quality control guy.
Ted Turner might not be aware when CNN looses signal to it's boston affiliate at 4 in the am.

Oh, and btw, Marsman pronounces "beta" as "bater"........

Really IMHO the interview wasn't all that great. I didn't really hear any kind of "important" questions dealing with lack of empire weaponry, lack of overall strategy within the game, lack of situational weaponry, the grouping of completely different weaponry in the HA catergory, will their be a more evened out rewarding system to stop people from playing nothing but offense. I mean most of the questions were vague at best.
This is of course my opinion and noone has to agree. But when is the liberator coming, are facilities going to get benefits, are there going to be neutral type bases and sh*t half of that is answered by the Official Web page and nothing was even asked about the lacking areas of the game.
I would suggest next time getting a huge amount of questions for the interview ahead of time so good ones can be picked out. The fly by asking of questions seemed to where you guys didn't even understand what the person was talking about in the first place.
Next time let me drill that fool about where this game is heading and we will get some serious information or a serious avoidance of questions.

LOL blue. You wouldn't like me in real life to much then, cause I tell it like it is. I wasn't rude about it, just trying to be a little more informative and unbiased. It would run really smooth if the questions were sorted with the trash and good stuff before hand and get some good quality intel. It's fun giving out some questions off the hip through IRC from the players but you really need to sift through that stuff really fast.

lol I was just kidding man. People are entitled to their own opinions and for the most part those opinions are accepted here. A bunch of us (including Hamma) were talking on Teamspeak when you posted that so I posted that for a good laugh. :D

The biggest problem is Hamma got a little lazy with the interview. He decided to bring up questions that were intially asked but were solved in a patch a few days later.
The interviers need to do a better job weeding out the bad, ambigious questions next time. Dave had a few questions that were "I'm not too sure what they mean by that". Hamma and whoever the other dude was should have weeded them out.

Ok sorry, you can take over next time.
Here's what happened:
The first time we went to do the interview Daves sound card was fried. Thus delaying it a few days. We also had our main Voice server completly go down, we had to transfer to another box and reconfigure everything there. So I was unable to go through and weed out the questions which were answered in the patch.
And these were questions from the community, How am I to know what is going through peoples mind's when they post these questions?
Trust me, I am not lazy around here. I spend 90% of my time online working on this damn site.

Then there is absolutely no reason to ask questions that had no meaning.
11 members? Pure lazyness

You've got some nerve, why not instead of tell people that you think they are lazy, get off your butt and start up your own site and see how much work is involved,, I know that the team here has not responded as such because its too much work to deal with someone such as yourself, but someone had to say it.
I personaly take my hat off to the guys here at PSU, they do a awsome job for 1. no money, 2. not much recognition.
Show us your webpage, your work, your interview with the Staff, then you can comment on how lazy you think the staff here at PSU is. Until then wheres that [i] button.

We dont make a dime, there is no money in fansites. Why do you think there is such a lack of good fansites now? :( nobody wants to shell out the time and money it takes to make a good one.
I spend over 600$/mo to keep PSU running and admined :p

unhackable doors
