Are you getting a new PC or upgrading your current one for PS?

First off, it was 2:33 when you asked if i know where my computer was. What if at 2:00 i did but at 2:33 i didn't :eek:.

Anyway, I'm working on upgrading every component in my box as it is now because i just can't stand my performance in...well...everything. So you could say im getting a new PC, since it will probably all be changed. I will most definitly take PS into consideration when I do it. Don't want to upgrade AGAIN to play PS...

Well, I got a lot of cash and gift cards to Best Buy for christmas, so I will try to get parts and things from PriceWatch and then put it all together....I only need a new processor/mobo to have a good comp again... =)

I'm getting a new mobo, cpu, ram, hd, and powersupply. That's right on the line between upgrade and new pc.

I bought another 256M stick of RAM 2 weeks ago - it lasted a whopping 24 hrs before it went bad. :( I am still trying to get it replaced. :rolleyes: But that's all I need.

I'm upgrading from 512 MB of PC2100 DDR to 1024 MB PC2700 DDR, and a Radeon 9700 Pro (waiting for Nvidia to release its inevitably overpriced new line of video cards so the 9700 gets a bit less expensive), and possibly upgrading the processor from a P4 1.8, although that's doubtful.

I'm going all out and getting a new PC that is all decked out. My curent one is a P2 400 with 512mb of sd ram, SB 512, TI4200 garphics card, 80g hd and a cd burner. What I'm getting is a P4 3 gig processor 1024 mb of ddr not sure what speed I'm going to get yet depends on the mobo, Plextor burner, dvd drive, SB Audigy Platinum 2, One 60gb hd and one 80gb hdTi4600 or one of the new boards from Nvidia depending on what's out when I order.

I almost upgraded to a pimplicious system last week, but then I spent hundreds too much on Christmas and I decided to let it wait. I have a AMD 1.7, 1.2 gig of ram, 60gig hd, and a gf2400mx. I want the 9700pro soooo bad. Almost as bad as PS.

You should wait and get a GeForce FX instead of a radeon 9700...

I myself just want to get a 512 stick (DDR) maybe more depending on the price of it in Feb. And i also need to get a new GPU, dunno yet what, again i will see in Feb, probably a GeForce4 TI something or other. :)

No thanks, I don't feel like paying a hundred bucks more for features I won't use, the Radeon will work great for me.

Well I'm certianly getting one of the new Nvidia fx boards if the price is good but, I'm not doing anything untill about March. Plus the prices for the stuff I want will drop a bit and there will be new stuff to choose from when I custom build my own.
