I just got emule, and have been using kazaa. i always just used kazaa for music, and used irc and bit torrent for "other stuff" well now, depending on if emule is faster than irc and BT, i will be using it for "all of my needs" from now on. EMule is the Kazaa lite of Edonkey if you didn't know. it allows for sharing of everything kazaa does but also file archives (.zip and .rar etc.) and cd images (iso's) and all that good stuff. y'all should try it out

ok scratch this whole post and burn it in hell. I have found the ULTIMATE ( i think..) kazaa type program. It's called shareaza. i've never heard of it, but i was just messing around and happened to find it, well anyway, it searches gnutella1 and 2 networks (sp?) and the edonkey server, i'm pretty sure that kazaa runs off the gnutella ones, and edonkey is just another good one. Well get this, i typed in "hot" as an audio search, and i got upwards of 4000 results! other ones i've tried usually gave me 3-400 so tell me if this is normal to some of you. it can also be used as a full out download manager for regualr windows internet explorer type of downloads, i haven't tried this feature but i'm anxious to see if it splits up the files and downloads them multiple times at once ( like getright) so try it out http://www.shareaza.com
