Need help -- Take 2

Simple question:

I start with 4 certs....

i believe that i cannot spend these 4 points to
get a tank in early game...

or heavy assault before medium assault..

or is that possible?

if not i would like to know if there is a skilltree or something like that anywhere :)

You technically start with 6 certs if you run through weapons/vehicle VR. That will net you two battle ranks.

That being said, it is possible to get Medium Assault and then Heavy Assault in the very beginning, you just need to run through VR. :)

so not all abilities are trainible from start

some have needed pre-certs you must ahve to train the next

i would like to know which certs i need for an reaver for example


or what i have to spec to drive medium tank

The certs that require pre-req cers, that i can think of off the top of my head, are:


Adv. Hacking - Requires Hacking
Cmbt. Engineer - Requires Engineer
Adv. Medical - Requires Medical
Sniping, heavy Assault, and AntiArmor - Require Med. Assault

u can cert in any vehicle when u first start but it is pretty much the assult waepons and support roles like engy, med, and hacker that require u to pre cert before u can adv certs like adv med, and adv engy. u need med assualt to get other waepons.

Here is how the prerequisites work:
You must have Med. Assault to get Heavy Assault, special assault or Anti-vehicle weaponry.
You must have Engineering to get Combat engineering.
You must have hacking to have adv. hacking.
You must have mdical to get adv. medical.

Other then that, there are no prerequisites. Enjoy. :)

okay thx..that means i can take a reaver from beginning :))

just have to stay up in the air or im blasted on the ground without anything :)

Cool ... I like air targets. :D

Actually, you have a good idea, and that is one way to advance without spawning every 4 or 5 minutes in heavy combat.
