ELH on Konried is reaching upwards around 900+ members. Now I am not sure how many TR there are on Konreid altogether -- but when you put this amount of people in an outfit, you will be able to be as careless as you want with friendly fire, literally blowing anything you want sky high without worry of getting grief.
You either need to start capping outfit members -- or implement outfit grief points. Otherwise players that compose ELH will be able to get away with a quite the game imbalancer. For the most part, bugs aside, I totally agree with the grief point system in that not only does it punish the people that TK to the extreme, it also is very forgiving when you accidentally TK, but foremost it serves to make sure people are using their correct weapons for different situations and keeps people mindful of that.

Throw 900+ in the same outfit as ELH has done, and you bypass 2 of the three that I care about when I am playing against them.

Please take a look into it. (No, this isn't a whine about ELH. But a topic of discussion of how a grief system is going to start holding minimal of not any effects for a team which pretty much has all it's players in one outfit. Or at the very least getting close to that point)

If someone from ELH comes in here and cocks off about a 200 player limiting factor per continent, that makes it even worse and more exploitable. Imagine every member of your team immune to grief, combine it with recklessness and the ability to not use any skill at all when killing enemies, and you have a game balancing problem.

And I thought you were only exempt from greifing squad members, not outfit. Pfft.

They should make it so it IS only squad members.

There should be an outfit cap for members. When you get that many people it's no longer an outfit you're a damn empire. Completely unneccesary but whatever.

ELH is so freaking big, its not funny... Most small outfits don't even have a chance to get onto the leader-bored. With point harvesting outfits like that. No offense to them though, I've seen a few of there guys that are good. There are a few though, that worry me =/

Anyway, a Player-cap might be a good idea, but I think just breaking the outfit ranking into 'levels'. Based on how many users you have in your outfit would be a better one. At least to fix the leader bored. As for the Tk'ing problem, what are the odds of some one doing this. And NOT getting kicked out for being a Tk'ing Jackass?

As long as when they throw nades at their teammates, their teammates still die, I don't really care. :)

With that many people I doubt they even know who is in their outfit.

No the problem is that an outfit may not care and intergrate this into their stratagy. 75% can go Pounder MAX and not worry aboubt grief from friendly fire. This Allow for a wall of nape spam. It essential removes the one of the major tatical disadvantages of AOE weapons, (Greif potental) leaving the smaller outfits to deal with pounder MAXs/thumpers/rocklet rifle users etc. firing a them even in situations where they would not recieve it because of greif potential from already engaged infantry.

If SOE does not fix this then you will see 1 outfit for each empire to get around greif....
