ibuypower uses OEM parts, what is OEM.
i would build it from scratch but i dont want to order all the parts from different places and i have no stores around me that carry what i want/need

I'm not exactly sure how they get them, newegg.com sells OEM parts, i believe when you buy them it just means it's the product without the retail box or anything, just in a bag. so it's always cheaper. but i'm not sure how it works when they build a whole pc out of them.

OEM
A company that purchases computers or other complex components from manufacturers, adds other hardware or software, and sells the systems, often for specific applications.
(OEM) A misleading term for a company which
repackages equipment, such as computers, made by other
companies. Unlike a value added reseller, an OEM does not
necessarily add anything except their name to the product. In
some cases though they may integrate components into complete
systems. OEM arrangements are often made for marketing
reasons.
so i guess OEM parts are just bought directly from the factory without any retail box, they just get them straight off the producion line. I got my radeon 9500 this way and it was about 75$ cheaper and it works great!
