Should work, so long as you register your station name as a PS account beforehand.

You still need to provide a credit card number during account activation, but ya. They don't charge it until your 30 days is up.

Tell him to go with game card. Even thought you pay for a full three months, you have zero chance of them billin gyou afteryou decide to quit. a lot of internet related services that charge a fee bill people's cards later even thought they signed up for only one month. You can't be too careful.

Actually Happy lil' Elf, both Anarchy Online and Asheron's call have done what he spoke of... They have billed people after they have unsubscribed, and even in the case of one of my friends started DOUBLE billing him every month even though he unsubscribed. He ended up changing the credit card number to all 1s, and Turbine/Microsoft ended up calling him and rudely telling him they "caught him trying credit card fraud." And he responded that it was actually them that was trying to defraud him, and the dork at Turbine looked at his acct and saw it was unsubscribed, yet the billing system was trying to bill him, lol.
