I like it, but i have 3 suggestions:

1. Make the background mesh for the text darker or more concentrated so the words stand out better.

2. Make the banners jet black instead of the darkish tanish color they are now.

3. Make some sort of aesthetic difference between the side background/banner/text groupings and the central background/banner/text groupings. Perhaps something as small as changing the mesh pattern or the coloring of the words in the banners.

OK, the site looks fuckin sweet, and the Tan colour scheme is cool (and original). The new logo is the height of sexuality, but I have one criticism:

The quality of the PS characters in the top banner is quite poor. Yeah, the pictures are quality but the edges look quite bad on the new banner, and quite jagged. I suggest removing them or perfecting the edge with a 1 pixel rubber and a lot of zoom (Which is fuckin impossible from my experiences, why else do you think I have a white background on my sig :D)

Anyway, great site!

I beta tested the new layout, and took the time to read maybe a sentence or two, worked out great. It stands out enough, just kinda hard to read on the mesh (not a huge deal)

1. I would also like to try that. :)

2. The ones on the side are jet black, and I thought the center ones were but they aren't (I didn't make them so I didn't notice).

3. Could also be interesting. :)

yeah, that top image of the faction is actually a transparent gif. Smoothing the edges was my first option, but that didn't turn out so well against such a dark background, so the edges had to be harder

the other option was a png file, but that turned out not to be an option due to filesize and browser compatibility
