No, you just have to learn to use headphones, then you wouldn't be stuck in this situation.

Vegas wasent every fun when I went, theres nothing to do for kids under 18. My brother and I had to sit up in the hotel room whilst my parents gambled, the pools suck, the weather sucks, vegas sucks. But when Im 21, vegas will rock.

The worst part about going to vegas was that my parents just HAD to walk around all of vegas, and take us. 100+ degree temps and cars EVERYWHERE(even on the sidewalks and in the elevators) made it terrible. I know you wont see this till you get back cause its like the 5th as Im posting this. But have a fun

How can you say there is nothing to do there r3d??? I was just there a week ago and there is LOTS to do there. Looking around the different hotels and seeing what they got (Ceasars Palace, Treasure Island, etc.), they got rollercoasters and video motion rides, different shows (magic and OMG BLUE MAN GROUP OMG OMG OMG!!!), 75 ft indoor rock climbing wall. So unless you were there a few years ago then ya it was boring cause over 5 years or so it has changed tremendously. But Squeeky if you can, I suggest seeing the Blueman Group at the Luxor Hotel!

Yea..................

I lived there and its one if not THE best party spot but living there well.......... I would have to say Nay on that idea of living there.

Yes there is plenty to do, ALL THE TIME< even if you are young. But the cons outweighed the pros for me.

Traffic is a MUTHA FUCKA there, and my opinion only, its worse than Los Angeles traffic. And I have lived both places. Now the heat. It calms down in the winter with kick ass lightning storms but your AC will be your BEST BEST friend in and out of the house. Plan on setting that bitch to like 50 during the summer while you sleep not to mention awake. If it does decide to rain there which when I left in '99 it was the 100 year storm I think. Floods all over. Luckily lived on a elevated complex. Now the violence well, lets just say packing some heat is a good idea in your house at least. And watch where you go. You can be in richy rich land and 3 miles away its Boys in da Hood. Plus if anyone has lived near an airport, well get used to planes going over ALL THE FUCKING TIME, ROOOM, ROOOOOOOOM 24 seven. So if you cant stand that dont move to Grass Valley for starters, at least when I was there. Oh yea, dont drink the water. It SUCKS.

One of my biggest problems was the traffic lights. 30 seconds of green followed by 2.5 minutes of red. Go figure how they did that one. Not to mention that on average every 10th car is a drunk driver in Vegas. Oh and the insurance for cars when I was there was like........ HIGH.

Lets see, what else I hated. Oh the PEOPLE! Its such a rude ass customer service mentality it reminds me of the stereotype of New Yorkers, Hey fuck you pump your own gass! I could go on but it seems you either HATE or LOVE living there.

Now the pro's:

Lots of fun shit to do from golf to rides to gaming to shows to skiing like 45 min away up at Mt Charelston to cheap as all hell dinners and steaks like the Skyline's 3.95 22oz T bone with the all you could eat salad bar and mash potatoes and gravy! Not to meantion all the OMFG HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT women there.

(Check out Mandalay Bay COCKtail Teaser umm I mean servers in there)

The old Down Town which has a kick ass light show every hour during the evening.(Dont drift off the main strip though, be WARNED No side streets is your best bet ;) )

Star Trek experience at the Hilton(reminder this was back before moved at near the end of 1999) That show rocked among many others.

Strip clubs are fun. Crazy Horse(es), Spearment Rhino, etc.

Oh and the clubs there, wild. My personal fav just cuz I grew up on the coast, "The Beach"

Well I hoped that helped you out a little Hamma ;)

Vegas Mentality:

Other Places Mentality:
