so i've been taunting fate and the pyrotechnics gods foe a couple of days now. well, my time caught up with me. After blowing up some trashcans with artillery shells (amonf other things) I decided it was dark enough out so I started launching them out of the tubes.

Anyway, one exploded right as I lit it - I'm not too sure what happened. Anyway, I jumped back andnknew I had been singed, but no worde than normal, then I looked down, andmy left hand was on fire. Hehe, that's always a bitch. so I put my handout, went inside, peeled off all the charred skinn (way cool actually) the grabbed some ice and finished blowing shit up like a real American should.

Anyway, rhe point of this is that my hand is pretty gnarly and swollen, asnd I don'tnknow that I'll be taking the time to properly type the next couple of days. I just wanted you guys to know that.

The moral of this story is:

When using pyrotechnics properly, damage can occer. Please refrain from proper use of these items in that regard.

Btw I'm fine as can be, my hand's just leaking right now. I'm more worried about it in the moring than ight now.

My friend fell will going 40 miles an hour on a skateboard while hanging onto a rope connected to a truck. ripped a hole the size of a quarter out of his right arm down to the bone, he zip-tied a tissue into the hole and went shooting.

This reminds me of the time my friend and I built a 3" diameter cement slug cannon out of 21 feet of PVC pipe and a beer keg. Except we didn't almost burn our hands off. Although we did send wood splinters flying into his goat after almost completely taking out a 25 year old oak tree.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I get crispy. My pyromania is very dangerous for me. Had many close calls. Just so you guys will know, if I don't post for a month and don't put up a goodbye thread, that's probably exactly what happened.

I never get to have fireworks on July 4th.. my mom is afraid one will explode while I'm holding it. She's more of the type of person who wants to watch them from half a mile down the road while they are set off on a barge in the middle of a river. :lol:
