I used to be a big Starcraft and Broodwar player and i still am to this day because that game is fuckin amazing. When blizzard released wc3 obviously i got it thinking it would be the shiznit, and for about 6 months i played it, trying all the races, but mostly orc and undead is what i played(yes i like evil).
I began to notice that warcraft lacked a fundamental element that other rts games had: rushing.
For those of you who are familiar with warcraft 3 the original, you know what i mean. There were no rushes, and items sometimes made the game into a game of chance. Patch 1.6 left tier 1 melee units almost obsolete, giving even more power to casters, and air and ranged units. Now that frozen throne has released, i fear that wc3 has gone down the toilet because when i see all these new units i dont see fun and enjoyment witha sense of uniqueness, i see a bunch of imbalances and another cycles of patches to come. I hate the whole concept of creeping untill you have an army and then 1 battle decides that game. I think it's stupid and i just wanted to publicly say that i am ashamed of you blizzard entertainment.
So what do all you SC and WC3 players think???
