Well, got PS on the 3rd, and it is pretty kick-ass. I joined the Konreid NC and started soloing around, I believe it was, Solsar. PS crashed (all hard-lock crashes, too) 12 or 14 times that day. It was okay, but I hoped that it wouldn't ALWAYS crash that much.
I found out that I dislike the really large zerg, for several resons: It kills my FPS, it makes me lag, and I didn't know what the hell I'm supposed to be doing in a large battle so I just flung myself at the walls and died repeatedly with no real progress. Recalled to sanc about 5 minutes later, then went to Solsar again.
I found someone who knew me from PSU (Props to blak, or blakky, or whatever... you know who you are but I forget) and he got me invited into a squad. Had a pretty good time going around solsar and hossin. The squad was composed mainly of members from one outfit, which I was invited into (Barney slayers!). Crashed a few more times then called it a night.

Crashed much less on the 4th. Had a pretty good time, mostly did some ant runs for XP. Attempted to do one on cerysheryn but failed - at one point I got out of the ANT to check how far down it was a particular cliff, hit 'autorun' instead of 'forwards' and managed to fall down the cliff. It was a long hike back to the ANT. Did some stuff with some of the outfit members.

The 5th (yesterday) was a blast. Pushing around Hossin was good, but then a few hours later we had a squad of 5 on Ishundar. We pushed through light TR resistance, then met up with the Vanu at zaqar. There were only 3 or 4 vanu there opposing us, but it was one hell of a battle. Lasting about an hour and a half, maybe two hours, we lost the hack repeatedly, lost the sole tower more than once, got pwnt more than once by cloakers and heavy weapons, but we emerged triumphant in the end. Having sent one of the squaddies out for an ANT some time ago, he arrived back with the base in our control and at 10%. The fill-up pushed me to BR7. Really, really great fight, I'd pay the monthly fee for just one of those a month and regular stuff the rest of the time.

A few beefs:
1. The wall turrets - I don't know if its a bug or what, but swinging them around is a pain: 180 degrees requires 3 or 4 mouspads wide. Also, they can't track higher than about 30 degrees.

2. It crashes. A lot. It's not TOO bad, but I hope they can do something about it soon.

3. There is no 'freelook' for third person vehicles - unless you turn your vehicle around, you can't check what is behind you.

Beefs-with-people-in-the-game:
1. There seem to be very few engineers and medics around, despite the large number of "Need an engineer!" and "Mediiic!" cries.

2. Some people don't carry ANY medkits, instead they have a completely full inventory of ammo which they usually use one box of before dying.

3. Some cloakers are really stupid. When defending the walls with a squaddie against a few TR, a cloaker would run and be a nice, visible white smear for a few seconds, then stop, then run again... I took the liberty of exceeding his Recommended Daily Allowance for hot lead.

Anyways, I'll be sticking around for quite a while, as long as the game doesn't get worse and/or more expensive.

Reviewers specs -
Athlon 1700+
Radeon 8500LE w/ 128 megs ram
512 megs ram
Win98 SE
Cable connection
1.5 gig swap file
Running on medium detail (Except with flora turned off) I get 18-25 FPS in most situations. Lag varies between 90 ms and 150 ms, again in most situations.
