Holy shit! For the past hour and a half I have witnessed the coolest natural phenomina ive ever seen.
A BIG f'ing storm just rolled by the east coast. Thats no biggy, we get thunder storms alot. This thing, though, wasnt a thunder storm. It was a like somoene put 3 strobe lights in the sky on rapid setting, then God materialized the pacific ocean over our heads.
I went out to the gazebo and watched the storm pass. It fukin pwned. If someone had video taped it and examined the storm frame-by-frame, 80% of the frames would be lit up by lightning. That shit was going off rapid fire. 4-6 lightning bolts a second, and im not exagerating. Cloud to cloud and cloud to ground. The sound... jesus. Lets just say I now know what its like to be in a war zone.
Its tapered off quite a bit now. Only one lightning bolt every few seconds, and the rain has moved on.
Anyone else living on the eastern shore get to witness this freak of nature?
