Hello,

I'm really getting tired of them, and the higher BR I get, the more invites I'm spammed with now. Is there a function or toggle in the game that I'm missing? In EverQuest you could turn off guild invites. Is there something like that in PS, but I've just overlooked it? It frustrates me that SOE hasn't implemented such simple things in the game.

You could just accept one of the invites, block outfit chat, and never have to deal with it again. The only downside is that you would be in an outfit, but with outfit channel blocked, you could still do your own thing without inturuption. :D Just a suggestion.

Hello,

It isn't that I'm a loner. <smile> Friends and family from IRL were supposed to make an outfit, but a lot of folks have stopped playing the game due to frustrations over the bugs and lag. We don't have the 10 people required now, and I'm not even sure it will happen. Until I am sure Das Mallows will not pan out, I'm going to stay out of other outfits. Besides, no offense to anyone, but I haven't found any I particularly liked anyway.

When an outfit just invites me out of the blue, I have to wonder if they have done the same thing with 99% of the rest of their members. I don't want to join a zergling force with no tactical skills, and I don't want to be just another number either. I've been watching a couple outfits with interest, but I have yet to say anything to any of them. Until I know if my group's outfit is dead or not, I'm not able to commit anyway. Until then I don't want to waste anyone's time.

I'm hoping this feature will be added within a year perhaps, and people who do not want outfit invites won't get them.

I understand what you're saying. The char I've been playing most lately gets 2-3 outfit invites a night. It wouldn't really bother me so much if I was in a squad with somebody and we got along or they liked working with me and invited me. So far every invite has been from some random person on a battlefield and 95% of the time that box pops up at the worst possible time. You can't even /no the invitation because that only works for squads and not outfits.
My other char joined an outfit when I first started up and I've found it all but useless. Besides finding out where an occasional good battle is on outfit chat, it has been a less than stellar experience. I'd much rather take some time and find people I enjoy squading with and join an outfit of hopefully similar people. It's not like there are really many outfit bonuses anyhow.

well, I know most of the outfit cmds are squad commands with outfit added (/outfitleave, /outfitkick <name>, etc.). Try making a macro of "/macro NO\ /outfitdecline"
