vanguards are a bit wide, but i think prowlers and such are fine.
mags are a bit wide, but only their "bodys" not how they look, but the space they take up in-game
this prolly belongs in Game descussion.

Tanks are supposed to be wide, but the Magmower is a special case.

Hello,
The footprint of them in the game is one thing, but their visual size seems fine to me. Have you ever seen an Abrams tank in person? They are gargantuan! Seeing them in movies and on TV just doesn't give them proper justice.

Its not like tanks are supposed to fit through doors or anything, but if they can get across a bridge, i see no problem

This is probably the 5th time I've had to walk people through this, but here we go again
Then what you're talking about doesn't exist. Don't believe me? Go drive a magrider. You can fly by someone at top speed and as long you you don't hit them on your screen, they're fine. I drive a Vanguard as my primary occupation and I've driven many a jacked magrider now and can confirm that there is no issue with the hotboxes on tanks. If there were I wouldn't be able to scare the crap out of my fellow members of IV by flying by them at 65 kph an being close enough for them to give them friction burn.
It's the driver lagging, pure and simple. I wish people would research this instead of just bitching about a problem that doesn't exist.
Now if you don't like the fact that someone lagging can mow you down even though you show you've taken cover, tough. It's how the game works. At the very least bitch about the netcode, not the nonexistant oversized hitboxes.

if you have a problem with this forum dont jus start marchin in here accusin us about bitching about petty shit like this.....i made this as a simple question cuz i wanted to see if othr ppl also thought some tank issues were happening, lag or not.

You think a laggin tank driver is scary? Think a gal pilot...and you're IN the gal! Imagine warping...and ending up sideways on one of the claw thingies, and the gal flying off of it, then returning. My squad bailed, we went to a nearby dropship center, lagging pilot got a new one (my aren't we stupid, we boared it) and we flew off towards a base. We wanted to hotdrop over the base, but about 10 seconds before we wanted to hotdrop, the gal froze. We wanted 10 seconds, and then we were all the way past the base crashing into a tree! We managed to bail, only to have the gal crash onto us and we all died. Needless to say, the pilot went LD, we kicked him from squad, and got ourselves a new gal pilot. :D

Yes that was an annoyed response and I do appologize. That's because this issue doesn't exist and this is probably the 3rd or 4rth thead in this forum alone that's been posted about this exact same non-existant issue. I don't even want to talk about how frustrating the time where PSU died and the only PS board I had to browse while bored at work was the dreaded official forums /shudder
This won't be the last time someone posts about the "oversized" hitboxes on vehicles either. I think I'll follow my origianl plan, write out a post explaining it in notepad, save it and simply copy/paste. My replies to these threads seem to get more and more annoyed as I write them.
Again no disrespect intended, just frustrated about seeing these threads pop up again and again on an issue that doesn't exist.

I can't comment on the Magriders, as I'm Vanu. But I can say that it seems fairly wrong that although I'm five meters to the side of an incomming Vanguard, it still mows me down.

The magrider is worst of all, because it can strafe and such

Magrider is best in forests 'n such dense places, front of the tank is somewhat wedged so you dont insta-stop when one pixel of your tank clips a tree, unlike in the frigging vanguard, which has steep angles all around it making it very prone getting snagged into some meager terrain feature and sapping away your lifeblood, ie mobility when you are being raped by 2 reavers.
I hate that 'feature' in vanguards. Otherwise nice tank.
No comment on prowlers on that matter, havent driven them too much.
