Plasma nades own indoors, when you are trying to push through a stairwell. :) And EVERY empire has easy access to them.

Yea I know...

I cuss every time I go up against NC because of those damned Jackhammers. I also cuss when I get one- or two-shotted with a Decimator, but that's something that all the empires have easy access to.

Of course, I get nasty tells when I get on a roll as well. Usually because I'm running them over with my Prowler or Poudin' them to death with my AI MAX. ;)

I'm a cloaker so when I hear the 'chuka-chuka-boom' I start backing up, repeater in hand, and start looking for the nearest exit. They need to fucking fix the DL bug where you can't see it over their name, I was behind this Jackhammer whore (he had fucking two of em' on his back for christ sakes) then all of a sudden he turns around real slow, like he was checking his map and his mouse was stuck, then he just shot me...wts? Either way, Oni your cool m8, but your zerg goes and caps empty bases (especially the TR...) in our backyard because we're all on Amerish. It's not untill you guys have locked the damn place when we send our troops in...

shit, the pheonix should have more dmg then 5% health when attacking soft targets, tho i can blow a mos in 2 or so shots and a mag in less then 7

i was on forseal for like i think 5 mins today cuz we diddn't have a link to pwyll so i said fuck it and logg off ontop of the ne turret on pwyll... then again i logged back on and by chance one of Trigg's fiasco's was forseal so i tagged along for another 5 mins and left! Well I'm not trying to pee in anyones punchbowl, but this game really doesnt give the "winners" much bragging rights. I was off today, so I saw the whole ebb and flow of the population. Yeah the VS was hurting earlier. And as was stated, they were really low on population. NC at that time was the leader. Then VS's population gained some momentum and before you knew it there had 3 conitinents back incredibly quick.

NC is killing us Forseral right now. I've been there pretty much all night. But you know what? It wasn't tactics. It wasn't "elite skills" They did absolutely nothing ingenious or unpredictable. You just came at us head on. Chucka-blam-chucka-blam. And NC had 37 Percent pop pretty much the whole time while TR and VS had 32-34.

And I'm not bashing anyone. This isn't a JH rant. Its just the major flaw in this game. Tactics don't win -- population does. When TR is successful, its because we had the numbers and the enemy didnt. And I think the forthcoming Sanc stikes are a bad thing. Why? Because it forces you to defend your home continents. And on nights like tonight on Forseral there was nothing we could do to save it. Most of my squad would have preferred another continent where we could have had some good smaller scale fights. But we don't walk away from TR Sanc linked continents, so we just kept being the speed-bump to the NC Bus.

I was proud of my men though. They were the crew disabling the northern bases while the fights where down south.

There's where you see the ingenious of the game....I don't exactly know, It's 4:30 in the morning and I'm way too tired and dru....I didnt say that. Oh god who doesn't expect a 15 yr old to get drunk. I need to go to bed.....



anyways i think the whole zerging tactics are fine. Have you EVER IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE been on a public server that had effectice tactics? not me. and in small scale battles tactics are used very often, but if anyone, any empire is zerging agasinst you or with you the tactics are useless..........

Well I'll give you a little scenario that will eventually happen. When there is no tactic vs population other than having a bigger population you eventually encounter serious population imbalances per server. People will look at a server, see who the more populated empire is, and choose it. For example. NC generally has the bigger population on Emerald. So lets say a Vanu player from Johari decides he wants a break from being outnumered. Or maybe he just wants to play a different empire a bit. Now having played this game a bit he knows population is king. So he takes a look at Emerald. He sees NC is the more populated realm. He chooses to play NC on Emerald. He adds the population imbalance on Emerald AND Johari.

This will happen. Each empire will have a server they are king on... which means a server they rule the population on. One server will most likely be very even and from that be high populated. Refugees from the imbalanced servers will go there seeking a fair fight.

This is exactly what happened in DAOC which has a lot of aspects comparable to Planetside.

Go to the offical site, it has a leaderboard. Arakiel is second in the game, all servers, all empires. GODJOEY is ahead of arakiel by about 700 last time i checked.

No where else to go some ppl go to Forseal cap everybase without any 0 resistance leave and then 5 mins laer u guyz start pouring through! Cyssor there usually is some good action there but not enuff for 5k caps uaually! Amerish is where it's at terran and Vanu. I understand the Vanu being there but the terran have been hiding there for ages ever since that one patch! Just think of the NC as party crasher's coming to pwn u all ;-)

Every time I go to Amerish, It's the TR and the VS. And occasionly the NC will try something and it'll show up on the chat box thing "Gun Tower ______ was captured by the New conglomerate"


And everyone's like "what the hell??????" I avoid the nC on purpose, i hate fighting them, the VS are too easy to kill most times. I got over 20 kills yesterday on VS alone, something rare for me. It's the first time i've really fought the VS in a big battle. I like fighting them

actually as you should know its really fun to use other empires weapons.... i have about 5 minis 5 chainguns 7 repeators 3 strikers with 3 ammo boxes for it all in my locker...i use them when i get bored

Yeah, I just got Hvy. Weapons and use the Jackhamme alot :twisted: I love running down a flight of stairs toward NC as they gawk at a TR with one of thier weapons...it's really good against cloakers also :twisted:

PaulMuaddib is in my outfit and he's definitely no newbie. I have several outfit mates who can't wait to get their hands on a MCG and have lockers full of the damn things. Our opinion is that there is nothing wrong with it. It kills just fine if you know how to use it.
