Oh yeah i forgot to post this. Yesterday, the Vanu sovereignty had absolutly NO BASES on emerald. It was in the morning around 1130 or 12 or something, and i saw that the VS had one purple dot on esamir that was behing hacked by the NC. And for a few minutes, the VS had absoulty NO dots on the map. They hacked ikanam on amerish and proceeded to make their march back until by late afternoon they were back to normal. but still i've never seen a faction defeated. My outfit leader said that the Vanu were officialy defeated in his mind. was pretty kool we had a lot of laughs about it

Play at night I bet that won't happen, in the moring your forces are scattered all over and not enough in certain areas. All you have to do is get a whole lot of men and go from cont to cont and you'll be unstopabble sense theres not enough resistance

What's new? VS almost always get pwned on Emerald.

Its a different situation on Markov. Vanu I'd say puts up a good fight and wins about 70% of the time. Sure theres battles where we get completely creamed, but we do win over all a lot. I'd say it just goes with leadership and stability within an empire.

I'm an Emerald Vanu. It's rough. NC and TR outnumbers us by so much, and there have been several instances where the Smurfs and Commies actually teamed us off a continent. We just have to pick our targets a lot more carefully, as we don't have the numbers to zerg a base like the NC do on Emerald.

But I'm curious... for what reason would you mention this whole "Emerald got pwned" issue? Did you do this yourself? Did the Vanu elect a prime officer who fell to his knees before you?

Don't get too cocky, everyone has bad days.

god, NC dont "zerg" as much as yall think, ud be surprised how often its just a few god damn AMSes all around ur base so it seems we're zerging

today i was with a squad and we took 3 bases efficiently with only a squad or 2 resisting, finally 2 gals dropped and killed us...we had 1 AMS at back door, 1 in courtyard, and 1 over hill, not to mention the tower. i laughed a a max i sniped and he sent me a tell saying "o well, if we werent outnumbered 4 to 1, you'd never get that chance"

Right nc doesnt zerg..... *cough*

I don't know how many times I heard that before but 1 or 2 squads doesnt involve 70+ people... against 10...

I laugh at you :domotwak: Markov is an NC dominated server :p

LMAO he is saying 3 AMS's isnt a zerg-- I'm happy to see 3 AMS's a night for VS!

So...you measure how large a zerg is by how many AMSs are there?

To quote Red: Dumbass.

Being TR on Markov is not so bad, relax.

The only issue is organization, not lack of numbers. Soon as we learn to communicate better we'll be far more effective.

There really is no other tactic ya'll have against us on Emerald. There are only a few instances when we are NOT outnumbered. Every defensive fight I have ever been in has been numbers down. And the only way we are usually pushed out of a base is when they have soo many people in and around our base, its like a damn ant hill. Multiple AMS's will do it, ever heard of Instant Action? And I hate fighting against JH indoors... lol, there almost no way to win unless you get the jump on them from behind - very tricky

Its all in good fun. But when we do have numbers up, Vanu are to be feared :D :vsrocks:

Maybe it's just my imagination...but Vanu on Emerald seem really well organzied. More focused. I suppose if it's a case of numbers..you have to have more coordination.

I detest following the Terran Horde around just getting Xp. Seems like every time we get down to the last 2 bases on Amerish..the Vanu start to push back from ikanam. Or, hack Qumu and push from both sides. Ikanam has to be one of the most stratigically significant bases on that Contient.

Then there are those rogue Vanu that are just plain wacked. Lastnight, NC and TR were fighting over Seth, on Solsar. When, out of no where, some Vanu rolls up in an Ant. Rams the NC AMS and gets out of the Ant Running around with a Nano Dispenser point it at people. Still not sure what was up with that. lol

I guess of this had happened nine hours later I'd be impressed, as it is all I can say is: So?

Mazzic's right. Due to the massive ass kickings given to the Vanu on Emerald, the outfit leaders have become very well organized. This almost makes up for the lack of numbers we have on the server. Though it seems when all three Empires are on one continent, we get rubbed out rather quick.

Oh, and the Nano dispenser trick is actually not a bad idea. One of my equipment Favorites is set to carry a large number of ACEs, and some simple repair tools, ideal for when I'm setting/repairing defense. However, at one point I realized I was a bit farther from the base than I realized, and I had just spent my last ACE. It was at this point that I caught a running infiltrator coming my way. Chasing him with the Nano seemed to make him think I was about to wax him with whatever "rifle" it was that I was holding. He faded back, and I went back to base.
