to have a Common Pool machinegun? Not like the crappy Mini-chaingun, I mean something that used standard rounds, had a 200 round belt, and fired reasonably fast. Give it a bipod (add proning, too) and give it a hell of a lot of recoil non-bipodded so that it can't be used as an assault rifle.

I've always liked the idea of a two-man Squad Assault Weapon type thing. two guys run out into the courtyard, slap it down, spend a few seconds setting it up, and bring to bear the true tactical implementation of suppressive fire.

it'd also have to be REALLY loud with a very distinctive sound. my idea of this thing is to have everyone in the facility going 'oh ****! it's one of those things! where is it so we can all kill it!'

I definetly wouldn't mind this, Vanu needs all the help we can get at the moment. Kind of reminds me of Day of Defeat. Having 2 players would definetly be cool tho, one to carry the gun, the other to tot around the ammo for him.
