Yea I hate when PSU is down and I'm left with only the official forums. Most posts over there are way too negative. I'm almost afraid that the SOE site is going to turn people away from the game rather than attract them.

I think you guys give Sporkfire too much grief. You have no idea what other responsibilities or work load the guy is under. Frankly, the guy could do everything right and he'd still get ragged on. I agree with Hamma. Not a position I'd want. The guy must have a pretty good attitude if he can put up with the shit that gets thrown at him and still manage to sound sane when he posts.

I use Tex because that's where I'm from, and I am the gunslinging conservative skinny white guy that everyone would stereotypically associate with someone that would call himself "Tex". Therefore, I use it.

As far as the sporkster goes...I like him, I think he's doing an ok job, although he spends a lot of time blaming the lack of communication between himself and the dev team as the reason for him not having answers to our flames...err...questions.

There are several things he could be doing to be a better community facilitator, but on the whole, I think he's trying his best. He certainly puts the hours in.
