Higher BR

MercFox1 brought up a good point. With all the new vehicles we've gotten lately, and the ones to come. Shouldn't we get higher BRs to allow a few more certs?

I don't think so. With more vehicle selections, you get a better chance to specialize, which is what an RPG is supposed to delilver. I'm currenlty only a Deliverer driver. I'm satisfied with that. If I want to fly around for a day, I forget a cert and have access to either a mosquito/galaxy/Liberator/Reaver for at least 24 hours. I can then forget the vehicle and revert back to normal. If you're dissatisfied with your character, you have 3 others you can make on that server.

Id really like to see higher brs in expansions or patches, maybe up to br 25, but ps now doesnt have enough different certs to do that.

If they did it now, anyone br 25 would be a "jack of all trades" in a sense that he'd have probabley every weapons cert, a flying vehicle and a land vehicle.

I think soe should release some new certs soon. Anyone know what theyre planning?

Releasing new Certs would be fine. But raising the max BR kind of defeats that purpose. With the BR 20 cap, you can only get so many Certs on one character, its how an RPG is supposed to be played. Usually when you have a jack of all trades, he is spread thin with how powerful his Skills are, that does not come to play in PS. I would leave the BR as is, and introduce more certs, tho I'm not sure what else they could come up with.

*edit* As for the Dual pistols - would be awesome! Remember tho, Infiltrators have ONE pistol slot, so they couldn't do it. It would have to take but both Small slots, so only Agile or Reinforced could equip Duelies :D

I want my lodestar god would it be nice to be able to take a AMS from sanc without the long travel times and if its multi vehicle i would also take a ANT with then its soooooo useful

I dont think they will raise the BR levels for some time, there is no real need to.

The way it is now you have to be more specialized, the way it should be imo.

We need more implants is what we need. Forget certs until later. Maybe like a Spy Sat implant that lets you see everything on radar for maybe 10 seconds...and it drains your Stamina like heck!

And a Disguise implant, certain holographic projectors are implanted in your skin to create the effect of a TR/Vanu/NC Standard soldier. Firing would ruin this effect, as it would cause the holographic projections to ripple and cause the hologram to fail. It would be empire specific for each....Ex: TR would have separate implants for making a NC or Vanu Hologram....

Or a Direct Uplink inplant that lets infiltrators (in a squad) to send pictures, via his optical implant, to any person of his choosing. It would work sort of like an e-mail system, and a special button takes a picture. It would drain stamina for every picture...so it really only runs out when you are taking alot of pictures. A use for it would be that instead of telling your commander what is down the road, you can take a optical uplink picture. It would help massively with planning attacks, invasions, counterstrikes...the list goes on.
