I was playing PS the other day. We were hacking yet another base and we were bored during the 15 minute period. Someone dropped a Boomer trigger and said that anyone could have it.

I'm not an engineer, but I thought that maybe I could blow it up without being one, so I dropped my REK and decided to give it a try.

As usual, I'm wrong. Not certified.

I drop the trigger and look to pick up my REK when I realize....its not there!

"Which one of you thieving bastards took my REK?"

Now I'm not going to mention any names *cough Sporke cough* but the person confessed, but didn't give it back. I decided that I could take the Grief Points, and shot him once with an AMP. He was in an Infiltration Suit, so it did a bit of damage. Still, he didnt give it back.

Once the hack was over, I saw him running to the spawn room. I pulled out my AMP (my Sweeper would have killed him) and gave him another shot. He was at like half health. Still, he didnt give it back.

This guy kept /telling me that he had it, he would never give it back, and I'm telling him to STFU. He keeps on going, and the way he was typing made him look like he had the mental age of a 7 year old. The sad part is, he's probably some 17 year old. I'm 14 and I'm more mature than this thieving bastard.

DO NOT TAKE A PERSON'S STUFF, DAMN IT! IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN TO ME, YOU WILL BE GETTING A SWEEPER BLAST TO THE FACE! :mad:

once a guy purposely ran me over with his deliverer. my friend revived me right there and i got out my phoenix and blew the whole thing up (it was already damaged some)

then i saw him after the hack and killed him.... but then pitying him, i revived him.

i got 500 gp that night :) (bad onizuka bad)

i do that a lot onizuka (get revenge) but i don't have medic :D

and i also steal people's shit, any time i see a vehicle laying around unlocked that i have a cert for, i'll jack it, cuz then my 5 min timer doesn't start, and i don't have to wait in line for a vech.

if you were that mad about someone stealing your REK, just kill his ass. nothing bad can come of it other than a few grief points

I'm also pretty gracious with accidental damage. This one time, we were also capping a base, and some of us were 'taking care' of the spawn tubes. As in annihilating any Elmo/Barney who stepos out. Well, I was going to loot a Beamer when this idiot hits me with a Scattercannon. Bastard. So I give him a MAG-Scatter blast. Note:

MAG-Scatter vs MAX= low damage
Scattercannon vs Agile Armor= high damage

He fired again, killing me. Asshole. :mad:

However if it's a complete kill by accident I just get really angry inside, and punch my left hand with my right and imagine it as my hand punching someone's skull so hard it breaks into pieces.

The reason I wanted a Beamer is because I have no accurate long-range weaponry in my main setup: AMP (extreme recoil), MAG-Scatter, and Sweeper. And the Repeater sucks.

Beleive me! Beamer = takes a clip for a reinforced...

Repeater = much more accurate higher ROF and 9 to 12 hits for reinforced...

Edit: I'm still in awe someone actually uses the beamer when they don't have to :jawdrop:

The other night the squad I was in decided to hit the north coast of Cyssor. The place seemed quiet, but by the time we reached Ekera, we knew that the NC Zerg was there. SturmGrenadier was there en mase and ready to deal out the punishment. We fall back to Aja and begin to set up defenses along the northern and eastern bridges. TR also had Bomazi and Wele, so we were protected from the flanks ok, not a sizeable force but a sustained presence. We took a good hour of setting up defenses and CAP patrol routes with a cornerstone being a Sunderer placed between South Wele Gun tower and the bridge. The sunderer gunners had the other side of the bridge zeroed in, Reavers and mosquitos patroling the air doing small recon hits into the interior of the continent, etc.

After taking that hour to set up things perfectly, the NC Smurf Brigade show up and start advancing. The Defensive strategy seemed to be paying off as several attempts to bust through our defensive net yield nothing to the advancing enemy. A little later, I'm in a mosquito when I notice that the Sunderer is being moved out. Confusion overwhelms us and the zerg advance through our bridge defenses and take control of the tower. Our SL is saying our vehicle was stolen by someone. He tells us his name and furiously leaves the game. I make it my mission for the next 20 minutes to routinely TK him. I amass a good # of GP. The whole time I'm sending him /tells stating that his actions directly resulted in the NC gaining control of two bases. His response everytime,

"It's just a game asshole."

Captain Obvious to the rescue. Yes, I know it's just a game, but when you go and ruin what took us a lot of time to develop, it's no longer just a game. I took it personally and dealt with the situation the best way (at the time) I could think of. Reflecting back I know what I did served no useful purpose, but sometimes you just have to do these things.

He was never part of our squad, just part of the TR presence there on Cyssor. It must be a dark sort of character to screw up a force like we had amassed.

In response to the incident that started this thread, as soon as he said he took it you should have killed him and looted it. I'd say you were justified, not because he took it, but because he admitted it and refused to give it back.

This is exactly the attitude I see form FPS players that can turn FPS games into shit. Someone accidentally killing you is not giving them giving you shit, it's a god damned accident.

Lemme explain a couple of things to you, Sandman. My tank has a longer range than your guns. When I'm driving I'm doing exactly that, driving. I do not have time to appologize when I am dodging Reavers, Liberators, Striker users and AV snipers using lancers. Not only that but I promise you that if you do manage to destroy my tank, your vindictive TKing ass is getting carpet bombed by the 2-3 liberators, mosquitos and reavers my outfit has providing air support. So by all means if I accidentally run you over and don't appologize, feel free to waste your time trying to catch my tank with your decimators.

In short, accidents happen, learn to deal with them. Purposeful TKs for idiotic reasons also happen, and should be dealt with accordingly.

Now if someone runs you over and sends you a tell saying something like "Heh, way to become roadkill, dipshit." and has a few times then, yes, that is someone who needs to be taught that actively TKing for fucktarded reasons has drawbacks.

I never get angry at my squad or outfit mates who TK me, kaka happens. If there is something important I was doing (covering the CC for example) I say that I'm down and I need someone to cover the CC while I'm reconstructing. Most of my squad/outfit mates who TK me do it as a form of penance for their transgression.

The largest bunch of grief I ever had was when I parked my AMS and a bunch of people got stuck in it. So I had to waste all of them and move it, big grief for that. But really, certain situations with assholes require you to kill them, like when my squad went to take a base that was being camped by a TKing Liberator. I ran into the stairwell and onto the wall. It turned after me and I ran back into the stairwell. He used the open door and prepared to flush me out when I hurled a grenade onto his highly damaged reaver and destroyed it. Then we had to waste 3 guys to go camp the nearby spawn areas for him.

Personaly, I don't care if they loot stuff I drop...if it's my own empires. If I worked hard to kill a Jackhammer or Lasher guy you'd better back off me or I WILL hunt your ass down. This has happend many a time, I loot a Jackhammer, a dude sees it on my back and griefs me for it. If I have a squad they usually unload on him, but for the rare instances I'm soloing I ask him nicely to give it back...they usually don't, so they get a face full of buckshot...and I get my Jackhammer back :)
