A *** is the typical definition for a cigarette over in England.
Some other words:
Chips: French Fries.
Crisps: Potato Chips.
Mate: Friend.
Canada: Insane.

Well the only words that pisses me off that Americans say is "Weiner"
It just sparks anger into me whenever someone SAYS it (so no smartass goes and writes weiner5 thinking he can piss me off)
Its that accent...grrrr
Anywho ask away for other Uk words and I'll answer (even tho I'm not from the UK but I live there...erm...here)

Well once I was at a BBQ while on holiday at the states and a guy goes up to the dude whow as servign food and he goes: "can I have a weiner please?" and the dude passed him a sausage...so yeah...

The only people that call sausages "wieners" are 5th graders trying to laugh. Or people with the mental ages of 8 year olds.
Well then again my first language is Spanish, so I don't really care about this whole debate. All I would like to add is that Americans have bastardized practially every Spanish word that entered the language.

Our wonderful school system of course. Though years of living in the midwest, working with the military, and contact with a variety of nationalities, I've rather managed to bastardize it right well, don't you think? :D

For the record, chips aren't french fries in England. French fries are usually called "fries" and chips are the big fat chips you get in chip shops and such.

Except they usually come in shitty old paper.

acually most english is taken from french and gaelic, (i spelled that wrong didnt i) words that commoners would use like cow or chicken are from gaelic (that really dosnt look rite to me, oh well) and words that important people would use comes from french, so think about it when u talk about bastardized languages, n e way cant wait to learn japanese, then i can rant all i want and almost nobody would know what i was talking about plus it helps that i already know 80+ words

I know he's Austrailian, but I've heard some English people say it too, so what is he really saying when it sounds to me like "core blimey!"? And is the first word (whatever it really is) just for emphasis (like "fucking" is usually used here), or does it actually mean something? Am I being too analitical?
"My god, i've created a monster!!!"
