You little fuckin bastards. When you enter a tower know what the fuck you're doing when you go in. If you're gonna post, post. If you're goin down, go down. If you wanna go up, fine. But know where the fuck you're going. Then, as you look at the stairs. Divide it into 3 lanes, left, center, and right. Then when moving up or down the stairs pick a fuckin side and stick with it. Don't do at this gay fuckin strafe shit. I mean, where you gonna go?!?!? If a guy comes around a corner? You take it. If you strafe all you do is take it anyway. If not from the guy infront. Then your team8 from behind. Plus you make inadvertant freakin targets outa everyone else. So pleaze pull your heads outa your fuckin asses. Thanks

good point, i hate when, in a tower, i'm shooting an enemy and some idiot thinks he's so cool and strafes right into my shots, dies, and proceeds to cuss me and send me /tells about how i should watch where i'm shooting...

D00d you don't understand. I never have more than like 200 grief. Today i TKed some ppl that were stuck in spawn tubes. But i figured... " i don't run up that much greif, i guess i can help ya out". Pfff... then at the last tower fight for north Gunuku around 10ish oclock. I ran up like 500 grief. I'm like wtf can't even repair shit can defend yourself. So theres no point in playing anymore right?

Know what? No one gives a shit. People are going to do different things in the game, some good, some bad. If you have a problem with someone, deal with them directly. Not some lame ass post cursing out everyone who, unfortunately, happens across it. Sack up and deal with it. Not everyone has boundless tactical knowledge like you. If you're getting so much greif, maybe you should ease up on the damn trigger once in awhile. If someone is dumb enough to move in between you and an enemy who are liberally exchanging ordinance, then let them sponge up the rounds and go about your business. :flamemad:

Oh, I totally agree. Let's all take pride in our mediocrity and refuse to be better players or cooperate with our empires.

Although nitpicky, it is pretty good advice about the stairs. The other parts are just ass-filled rantings.

You actually think garbage like this will help anyone cooperate?? First off, beginning something with an insult will 100% of the time put people on the defensive. If you want to make a change then do it when the situation calls for it. In game. What are the odds of that person who did something 'wrong', and I use the term loosely, finding your post on a forum? Correct the problem right then and there. If they say 'fuck you' or something equivalent, then move on. You did your part by trying to fix a situation and help that person become a better player. If they can't take the critcism or the guidance, then that's on them. How you approach them is the prime precursor as how they will respond. You send them tells saying something like 'Hey you asshole, what are you fucking stupid?? Don't do..etc etc again!" Truthfully, if someone send me this shit i'd say fuck you too. Learn some tact, you'll be amazed how far it'll get you in life. In heated conflict, adrenaline is going to take over becuase its exciting and everyone wants to be the best and be perfect. What people do and how they react to differing situations will ineviably be varied, thats a given. Another thing to consider is the age of players. You have no clue if that person is 30 or 12. Think how different those two ages are going to behave? People need to think before they make some jacked up thread that verbally assaults anyone who reads it.

Reread this then reread the rest of your post. Then learn how to use your enter key.
That aside, I'd much rather deal with nazis than anarchists in PS. If someone is making a poorly-executed effort at organization, I respect that ten times more than someone saying that adrenaline overrides order.
I know this might be mind-blowing, but sometimes telling people to cut the amateur shit is the only way to get them to, indeed, cut the amateur shit. A lot of the people playing this game aren't playing to see as many people as possible swarm a base and do 'fantastic' emotes for 15 minutes.

Obviously, you've completely missed the point. Since your main concern was whether or not I use the enter key, i'll go slow. I'm completely 100% without a doubt all in favor of order. I enjoy tactical, planned out missions instead of finding something to shoot at repeatedly, even if its friendly or not. Do you think that everyone else shares this ideal? To think so is quite rediculous. As for adrenaline, I never said it 'overrides order', don't put words into my mouth. Say someone is given an order to take a tower, they know where it is and that it needs to be taken. How they act in and on that order is where a couple things will be taken into consideration: Maturity, player experience, adrenaline. What happens when there's like 100 players fighting in a small area? Utter chaos usually. Some people get pumped and play better under pressure, others may lose good judgement and do things that they may feel are just and helpful but may not be. Everyone's different. I'm not looking forward to getting emotes spammed any more than the next guy. But what happens when you tell them to knock it off? They usually spam it as fast as possible. Dealing with things like this is part of the online experience. You're going to get people that do stupid shit, you're going to get people who don't play like you, think like you, or give a shit about what you say or think. How you deal with this is what makes you a better player. Someone who only has a few hours to play isn't always going to listen to some random dude on an online game. Maybe they don't want to, maybe they don't know how to. Trying to make everyone play mature and execute military squad style tactics is a lost cause. You find a group of people who play like this and stick with them. Everyone else to try to guide as much as possible then deal with the rest. If anyone figures out how to make the entire online community play like their personal style, they need to bottle that stuff up and sell it, and get wealthy. But we all know that's not going to happen. There's not always going to be order, because too many people thrive on disorder. Deal with it.

I see no reason to continue this argument, because it seems the crux of your argument is that you don't care enough to try to get people out of the do-whatever-I-want mindset.
That's where we differ. ;p

So why are you posting?
Well actually you see the thred was directed to a certain type of ppl. A certain type of ppl that do the gay shit. If you're not one of these ppl then you have no offense to be taken. If you do take offense then i can only assume you are one of these ppl.
Like i said i never run more than 200 greif ever and usually that is just built up by ppl begging me to TK them cuz they're stuck in a spawn tube and can't get out. I'm not trigger happy. I'm a very particular shooter. (lag/latancy permiting) I also happen to be an Advmedic and if i see that one of my bullets strays and hits you. I've run right over and fix you right up. I always try to do whats best for everyone there. I think thats rather generous. Which is why it burns me when some of you little fucktards just don't give a shit.

LOL, if this is what you think I belive, go right ahead. The 'crux' of my argument isn't about me caring enough about anything. It's about the fact that you can try to change people all day, whether they change is another issue. One that you two obviously aren't seeing.

love the new sig, hamma.
also, i kinda agree with arakiel and stream|ine on this one. can't change everyone's behaviour, but if a n00b reads this, it might change his behaviour and make the game just a bit better place. it's kinda like vegetarianism. you can't change the world by being one, but after long enough, it'll be just that little bit much different.
just my 2 cents/mo.

yes pls. dont try to educate your masses. let them remain stupid in towers where I can kill a squads worth of enemies in under 6 seconds.
as NC we held the Kaang tower against superior Vanu numbers for close to 2 hours.
we fought their stupid zerging and their silly tactics.

ROFL. I was just beginning to wonder where the usual jackhammer thread-jacking comments were. Not that it took off yet, hehehe.
Steamline, much as I didn't care for the language, you have a point. Why don't you write a series of articles about tactics and submit to PSU? I'd read them, and I'll bet Hamma would post them up where more people will see them. Though I don't claim familiarity, he seems like he's all about the community. What would you say, Hamma?
Many times I talk to newbs who don't even know what a forum is, let alone to look for it, but they might see the site itself and if nothing else, we can throw out the URL in a speech macro in-game.
Just a couple thoughts, here, and you may now return to your regularly scheduled flame-fest, hehe.
