when fire are up on this mountain, thats not good, because of terrain and shit.

this mornin ther was lik a brush fire at me skool. it was put ou very fast since theres a lake 1 mile down in the valley. so ther wer helos an planes droppin watr constantly, so it was al controlled an nothin to fear.

big wildfire like 15 yrs ago an was stopped right at the summit behind the skool (well old 1, the skool was totaled in 89 loma earthquake sicne it wa right on top of the fault line).

an bak in october we had nother blaze behind the mountain, an was luckly stoped because we had rain on our side, so it lasted for only like 5 days.....

we dont get much storms here, but then again, a simple wind and/or rain could cause havoc.

97 el'nino came busting in, we went thru pretty well, besides for a bigass oak tree that fell in the driveway.

last september a redwood tree fell on our powerlines and drive way, blew out my friggin tv, an the house sounded like it would blow up. luckly notin was damaged but the tv an the table it was sitting on.

december, hard rain came with wind. most of the roads where full of mud and ice, branches lay all over. we almost went thru the storm with power till the last day when the weather peeps said it would end, tree fell onthe road, took out the powerlines, an blw the transformer setting that on fire. first time power was out for more than 2 weeks an our house temp was lower than 50 degrees.

now i ogta finish up the tree that fell in the drive way (the driveway is clear, jsut the rest of the tree on the side), its a bigass pain. an my tv barely works, kinda blue and burns out like every hour.

i have more since i liv up here in the mountains, but thats too much to tell.

k then what fearful weather conditions hav u been in?

/edit/ shit it didn't giv ya multipl choice poll, well choose ur worst situation.

o an our house was n the 89 loma e-quake too (ofcourse)

Plenty of earthquakes and brush fires.

There was a hill near my house that was like a dome, and there were houses all around it, massive hill. It caught on fire and we all got evacuated and i was at the kiddie park (was young) and the fire was close. I was crying lol

Tornadoes are fun....not.

Had to fly through a hurricane once....not fun.

Blizzards? Yeah, much fun. Had one back in Wisconsin that covered our entire house. Not from the amount of snow, but from the blowing and drifting of over 20" on the ground. Had to dig ourselves out of the house.

I've been in quite a few hurricanes:

Bertha: Category 3. Passed right over us but did no damage O_o.

Irene: Category one weakling.

Floyd: While it didn't *officially* hit, it was category 5 (max) and headed STRAIGHT for us. Then it turned for no reason. It hit South Carolina, left SC, TURNED AROUND, and hit SC again. Ouch.

I was also in a tornado. We all stayed inside.

Weather owns Miami.

A blizzard once in October, when I was in second grade. Knocked out the power for 5 days. Maybe 4 tornados before (KS has lots of those). Wen it rains really bad we sometimes have these half-ass floods, nothing that'd probably sweep you away, but a whole crapola of water.
