It is quite pointless to create a new forum just to host something such as anime. It is one topic, you could easily discuss this and that within the thread.

I vote no. There are tons of other sites to discuss that particular topic at length. While I dont have a problem with it being discussed here in the lounge under its OWN TOPIC and not used as an invasion of every other topic that comes along.....giving it its own forum on a Planetside site?

I like Chrono Trigger (and Chrono Cross) for the gameplay, not because some of the art is Anime. And it's not like I came in here saying "Ofmgmfg.. anime is l33t suck. nbbnabnabnabn." I just think we shouldn't stray too far from the main point of this site.

I like anime, its much better the english cartoons IMO. Its not just the art, its the stories, music, and feel.

Now on the question of having an anime forum.....Hmmm....I can see reasons for having one and not having one. I mean we have a tech forum and a political forum so why not have an anime forum. Then again it depends of how much discussion we're seeing. If there is alot then yes, I would agree that we need one so as not to annoy others who dislike anime.

As a response to your arguement about the Political Forums, it is easily seen that politics is a extremely large subject and able to branch off in many, many directions. Now, anime,i guess you could argue that anime can be developed and what not but, I mean, come on, do you seriously think there needs to be a new forum, just for anime. Next time, think before throwing out ideas, Hitler killed those people.

If you read my post I didn't said anything about me wanting a new anime forum. I made a statement of why it wasn't a bad idea and the plus/minus of it. Though politics maybe bigger then anime, this is a gaming forum so why have that? Next time read before typing replies, bunnies dies everytime someone does that.

The reason there's a political forum is they were really making the lounge an awful place(All other threads were buried quickly for one, and it was making everyone pissed as they always degenerated into a flame war) and because there were some major issues at the time leading to more of the first thing I said Also, there were people on both sides who wanted the forums because of the first thing I stated. Everyone wanted it.

Again Ouroboros, I'm asking you to read. My statement was that this is a Planetside site but yet we have a political forum, so there is no reasons to not have an anime forum too if the users of this sites thinks it important. Its only your opinion that politics have a hold over more people then anime. I know I can walkout on the street right now and ask people who the our seventh president was and more people would get that answer wrong then if I was to ask what color Goku's hair is.
