Anyone else feel that a good bandaid (although obviously not a permanent fix) for this bug and other similar ones is a return of the suicide command? Was there ever any word on why it was removed?

So you could not /suicide when you were about to die, therfore jipping your killer of XP

which makes sense... I kno that my friend used to have a /suicide macro. bugged the hell outta me.

Put a 5 second timer on it. Same rules as recalling cant move fire etc.

Part of it's removal, I assume, was people using it for transport.
i.e. run halfway to a base/tower, suicide, spawn, repeat. You can do that now, but you need to carry explosives which take up inventory space and you may have if you use em in combat.

They'd fix it so i could freely move between friendly bases on linked on the latice as they intended.

How many times do i have to propose that? I've said "put a timer on /suicide" like 50 billion times. :mad:

I reckon the timer should be more like 30 seconds though. I mean its pretty easy to know when you're about to get blown up, people could still abuse the command if it was on a short timer of about 5 seconds.

I arrived right when the playtest ended.

Hopefully they found the biolab issue
