View Full Version : Strange Error
Yes. I recently installed PS onto my computer. The game will run fine, I've already looked over that. I registered for a Station Name too.
So, I installed it. When I try to log in, it comes up with an error saying: 'This is an invalid PlanetSide Installation' And I can't get in. I'm somewhat frustrated if I can't play but I'm paying to play.
Anyone know what could be wrong?
Thanks,
mman

if you have a fast internet connection AND if you still have the original CD key for your version of PS (which includes the 30 day trial) you can just download Planetside from fileplanet ( http://www.fileplanet.com/files/120000/127374.shtml ) and put in your existing key.
(be sure to uninstall any other previous installations before trying this)
YAY I solved a tech prob! :D
Still not solved.
You see, I want to play on my main account but i cannot do that iwht the trial.
i installed again and again off my own cd but it still comes up with the error, i emailed ps support.

you can still play on your main account if you put in your account name when you d/l it from fileplanet. When it asks you to log in, just use your account.

thats one of the cool things about planetside.as long as you keep your payments updated you can log on anywhere it may be installed.(considering that theres a good conection):D
