Agg Damn A-wad

okay, i wasnt using my computer but it was just on, and on the desktop. Then all of a sudden it shuts down and starts making these loud noises like the cracking of wood or plastic for the next minute spastically.

then it stopped and started smoking.... and filled the whole room with the smell of burnt plastic... it was sickening.

i havent opened yet, but my guess is the power supply blew up, or one of the fans went crazy.

Im hoping nothing happened to my harddrive.

so right now im typing on my other computer (not as good).
anyone have this happen to them before, or anyone know what it is?

some how short ciurcted? cuase when my house got a surge, my tv smelled like that 2, still works from som reason but burns out lot..........tho u didn't get a power surge thru ur house.....so i cant help ya.:(

i opened it and everything looks okay. it was causing an aweful smell of like burnt plastic.

turns out it was the power supply so im gonna pick a new one up. lets hope everything is okay

In my computer tech class the instructor calls that smell o-zone. He swears it's a real term.
