Pwned (http://www.nbc4.com/news/2335898/detail.html)
People do some stupid things when they break the law. Someone robbed a convenicne store, they couldent get out the door and though they were locked in, they cept pushing and raming the door until cops came. The door said 'pull'
Some people ask for the ID of the criminal when their store is being robed, some of them actualy do it and get arrested later. They make up stories like "you need an ID to rob us" and "you have to prove your age before you can steal cigarrets."

and the psu quote thing at the top right hand corner says
PSU: Where being gay is ok!
wtf!!!!
I'd rather them try to steal an ATM than break into my home and steal my stuff.
Looks like they put some thought into it though.

Why is that the way NOT to rob an ATM? They haven't got caught yet, and they probably got some money.

VA Police are usually really good about stuff like this...it takes him a long time, but they'll get caught. No such thing as the perfect crime :)

VA cops = good
TX cops = fatbastardswhocankissmyassanddie!
trying to rob an ATM is pointless. I worked for a bank for a number of years. those are nothing more than mini-bank vaults with some electronics on the outside and an iddy biddy slot to move the cash in and out of it. that and some conveyor shit stuck inside for spitting out the currency
unless you have access to alot! of metalworking tools, like heavy torches, prybars, jackhammers and a remote place to work along with 10 or 12 guys with sledgehammers....its just not gonna happen.
the last one I saw that had been stolen and recovered, had been missing for weeks, was burned to a crisp, a 1 inch layer of the (3-5 inch) armor peeled back a layer at a time and it was still locked solid. the noise of the theives using the rented jackhammers working all hours got police involved.
(did I happen to mention the homing devices being built into most of them now??)
you'd be alot better off just getting a job. bound to be alot less work
they were lucky...at least they werent caught...yet

that's really smart actually lol, it would have been smarter though if they had a pickup and dumped the atm in the back of the pickup so they could jack the money, and have a nice piece of furniture for my room :D but where would you find an ATM in a place deserted enough and big enough to get that backhoe in there w/o anyone noticing?

Hell, ATMs don't have a lot of money in them. Only a couple thousand bucks, more is put in by the tellars by conveyor belts when they see fit. Stealing an ATM will get you maybe 4k, not worth all the trouble you go through.

would it break if you droppeds it from a high building? i mean, i would imagine it weighs a helluva lot, so it might work. not that they could do that without anyone noticing but still
