LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - One day after an 86-year-old man lost control of his car and barreled for three blocks through a crowded street market in Santa Monica, the number of dead rose to 10 on Thursday as police considered possible charges against the driver.

I've had a few near hits with old people driving. They are a hazard and most of them shouldn't be on the road. Their reflexs are far to slow.

Acaulty, 82 isent that old, Its still old but my grandpa is like 60 something and he still keeps fit, hes got better reflexes then ever and he can drive just fine, I only think that like 80 + is pushing the driving limit, you know?

I think they should have a driving evaluation at 75.

yea my 87 year old grandfather used to drive without a license and the dumbfuck hit everything he saw. the car was great but after a little while with him driving it there were dents everywhere. we even found a looong scratch alongside the car. probably from him scraping against someone in a parking lot or something. what an idiot. ;)

A Toronto woman hit a pedestrian, dragged the person, caught to the car, to her house, went in and went to sleep. The next day the children found the body and all the blood. Old people suck.

See that brings up a good question. How do you punish old people? Sticking them in jail isn't a solution.

Edit: Well maybe not life :( no life, maybe lik 10 years, cuase that was a simple accident that a old geezer cant stop. either he goes for 10-20 years (or the rest of his life since he's so old), or ther is gona be a law change in the drivng department.

Maybe we could sentence them to life in a old persons home. They're like prisons aren't they? :D

Someone on another board I frequent actually said "I've seen young people do much worse". I mean, where? Was he perhaps on a trip to Israel and saw a Palistinian driving a suicide bus or something? The guy drove for about three blocks mowing people down. It doesn't get mch worse than that, does it?

So you're saying his car rolled for 3 blocks? It probably just started rolling when he stopped hitting people and found something more substantial in his way.

black women high on ecstacy and crack shouldnt be aloud to drive

stupid lady in pittsburgh hit some old dude and he got lodged in her windshield so she drove home and parked in her garage and left hi there to bleed to death overnight, she called a friend and asked what she should do

now that stupid crackhead gets 50+L with parole of course cuz that would just be unjust not to give her a second chance:mad:
