Has anyone here got any ideas about fixing lockups, I talked to their support but the guy was stupid and said it was my cooling fan, I have liquid cooling anyway and run at optimal temperature so he then said it must be my hardware, I dunno about that but my PC is top notch...

Anyways, I loock up all the time, like every 10 mjinutes, it makes the game irritating and unplayable, any idea how to stop them?

Sony doesn't like to admit there might be problems with their stuff, they're proud mofos. You'll probably have to get used to it and pray that they fix it soon.

Chances are if it is an issue, and they know about it.. its something you cant work past.

They are probably working on it for the patch.. do you lockup on the test server?

even though i have only had my version of PS for about 2 days, when i first started playing it, it would crash with in 5 minutes. I managed to fix this problem by messing around with my display settings, and i have never crashed again, so that is what i sugest you do.

Do you mean display setting as in right click on desktop then display? or ingame graphics menu?

Hamma I don't do the test server, I already get irritated at the bugs in live as it is.

And yeah, I am pretty much as in 110% sure its not my hardware, no other game including all these recent games I go has a prob, my PC eats the PS specs and spits them out, this shouldn't happen, I been told its cause I have a Radeon..WTS I know PS is supporting nVidia but this is a bit extreme lol...

latest Catalyst drivers? DirectX9a installed? if its not a hardware problem, suspect software.

Great place to get any video card drivers. Also has some great utilities for uninstalling your old drivers.

Something that helped me hella lot: switch SOUND drivers to directsound HARDWARE SUPPORT or whatever it is

Make your soundcard do the work, not your ram.
