Yep, and the justice system sucks too. When I lived with my mom somebody broke into our house and took the 2 VCRs and the TV. He used the window to get in and left two BIG handprints for us so we caught him. Anyway, when we went to court we sued (I think that's how you spell it) him for burglary. Since burglary is classified legally as a robbery at night, they said we should've sued for breaking and entering and the case got thrown out. he went free.
God bless America. =/

You guys tried to do it yourself? I consider myself a pretty smart guy, but I leave ALL of my legal issues up to the trained professionals...

Best Paragraph: "After I thought about it, I remembered that John Coltrane actually wrote
that riff, and I basically stole it," McGuinn said. "Actually, the parts of
the song I didn't take from Coltrane were ripped from Ravi Shankar and
Andres Segovia. "

McGuinn, who is often credited with inventing folk-rock (an accusation he denies),... He should. That's grounds for a lynching.:D

Someone in my town tried to sue a car owner for burning their hand on the car handle as they were opening the car door a couple weeks ago because it was black and was parked in the sun all day.
No joke.

in england there was this farmer called tony martin, who got his house broken into about 8 times i think by these same guys, but the police never did anything. Then one day, they broke in again, and he got his shotgun, shot one of them in the chest and the other in the leg. He is now in prison, and they will no tlet him out on bail unless he apologises. and the best bit? the burgler who survived [who has a criminal record of burgling like 40 houses] is SUING him for loss of earnings!
a similar thing happened when this guy was braking into a huge house via the skylight, fell through and hurt himself, then successfully sued the owner of the house for endangering him or something.
