Since the wishlist is too large for me to go over and see if anyones ever posted any of these ideas, I'm just sticking them here. :D
1. A stunt track for VR vehicle training. I could just see people gathering for a wraith/basilisk quad race now. :)
2. An advanced shooting range. Same thing as the regular shooting range, but with all the targets moving around at various speeds.
3. An archipelago continent. Somepleace where the Vanu can REALLY show off there extra "mobility"
4. Urban warfare. We should see some Vanu ruins by now. Not just those big warpgates, but huge, sprawling ancient urban territory.
5. More lava. It would be nice to see an entirely volcanic continent. Would give new meaning to the term "hot drop" :)
6. Respawn time penalty removed if you die within 10 seconds of respawning.
7. SPACE. A big idea, but a cool one. :) Basically acting as one MASSIVE continent is the lower orbit of Auraxis. 3 huge space stations acting as bases for the three empires. If the "main base" for an empire gets taken over, people can not use the HART to drop from orbit, but instead are taken directly to the facility itself in an effort to liberate it. Of course there will be a LOT of smaller bases that must be taken over before this. There should also be "space only" vehicles here. And all normal aircraft can still fly here.
8. Fauna. Nothing massive, like giant lumbering dinosaurs crushing everything in its path, but small animals and insects, that work client side. Like the way flora works now.
9. Empire specific special assault weapons. All staying within the spec assault theme of indirect fire or AE damage.
-TR napalm thrower. Primary fire launches an arcing stream of napalm. Seconday fire launches the entire napalm canister like a grenade. The more ammo is in the canister, the larger the area effect. Short range, eats through ammo, and has a burn effect.
-VS shredder. The only special assault that can fit in a pistol slot, the shredder fires small razor edged disks that ricochet off walls. The secondary fire launches all the disks at once into a compressed ball that explodes upon contact with ANY player. The secondary fire ball sticks to any surface but degrades after five minutes. Medium range, small clip, high ROF.
NC-mega cannon. A massive, shoulder mounted cannon which fires a singe massive shell that slowly arcs over a long range and has a large AE. Only holds 1 round per clip with an extremely long reload time. Relatively slow projectile speed.
So how do you like these ideas? Good? Bad? So far fetched that my mind has somehow sliped out of reality?
